Next year, I agree. I want to cut ties at the end of this season. Cutting him now or in season will not help.

You guys are overreacting on Dickson, after I watched the game for the second time.

As a Sunderland fan ('real' football, for those who don't know ;) ) I'm used to the disappointment, but we have just won the Superbowl. We have to rebuild at some point, very few teams stay at the top for ever. I think we've had it good for a long time, and come the end of the year I think we'll make the playoffs and if you're in the playoffs you have a chance at the big time.

We have an elite QB.

Our D is getting younger and a few more games they'll come together.

Marlon Brown looked good.

Torrey Smith looked good although DRC handled him fairly well last night.

We were up against a very good side last night, in difficult conditions at Mile High.

Furthermore if Pitta wasn't injured I actually think we would have won last night, we were missing that third down chain-mover last night so the D was gassed and a QB of Peyton Mannings quality will pick a tired D apart all day long.

Keep the faith, it could be a hell of a lot worse.

Kyle should definitely get a shot at TE, Ed has bricks for hands.

And the secondary was dreadful, I thought Michael Huff looked lost on a lot of plays and the communication just wasn't there went an LB would stop covering a TE no one in the secondary would pick him up. I was wondering though, I thought James Ihedigbo looked decent through all of this, what do you guys think?

Yeah Ihedigbo played well.  I think he had one missed assignment in that 3rd quarter when everyone was tired.  Either way, I was happy with his performance, especially in comparison to the rest of the secondary outside of Webb.

I agree, don't know why people are ragging on him. Ihedigbo looked fine.

Ok, here we go

Joe looked fine. Outside of the Monster(Marlon's new nickname) and Torrey the WRs sucked worse than Micheal Bay's second Transformers movie. Can't blame him on most of those drops.

The Defense WOULD have been good if the WRs held on to the damn ball. The offense would have had more time to score points and the defense would have had rest. That being said the D didn't play to well either

Jimmy Smith played very well tonight other than that one TD. But if I'm correct it was a Manning audible. Not much any CB can do there lol .Almost all the other TDs were at the fault of Graham.

Doom and Gloom baby.

Dayrl Smith played well

James I played admirably. He has heart but not the best game.

KO and Yanda might be the best guard tandem in the whole NFL. The rest of the Oline......... Eh

That's about it. There's not much else that was good lol.

I mean we were REALLY bad tonight lol

We need to keep working on the nickname... The monster isn't great...

Things will get better. The Broncos are really good, abd that is the furthest we will have to travel all season. I think we have most of the solutions in house. Patience will be tested, but is necessary. Only a few moves will be made, like next week when Jensen goes on IR and we sign Leon Washington. I cringed seeing Pierce back to return kicks, and I wasn't crazy about having Webb return punts seeing as how he clearly needs to lead this secondary and play lights out this season.

We're gonna sink or swim with the guys we have.  Knowing the FO and coaches the way I do, I think we'll eventually swim.  How much of a rhythm did you really expect Flacco and his guys to gain when most of them weren't even in the entire camp?  Clark showed flashes, Stokely can still find little zones to sit in and Torrey looked like with a few more games under his belt he could truly be a number one.  JJ12 will be healthy when it matters and Marlon looks really good.

Let the Broncos have this.  Let the idiot Bronco fans revel in their victory for a week.  When all is said and done, these two teams will probably meet in the playoffs and we KNOW who the better team is there and it ain't the Donkeys.

I know this is an overly optimistic post from rlh445, but I dunno.  The deck was so stacked against the Ravens last night that I can't even pretend to be worked up about it.  We got screwed by entities beyond our control, Denver got their little revenge out of the way and now we can commence with the repeat.
