Our Defense, vastly improved from last year.

 

I've said it before, and will say it again, we got a good defense. Our pass rush will be among the best in the NFL.

 

The weakness? The secondary, which is better than most of the secondary's in the NFL.

Webb is a shutdown CB

Huff is a former all pro with talent around him for once(LOL)

James I has played VERY WELL for us so far.

Graham is a good slot CB

Smith got a high ceiling

 

The X factor is Jimmy Smith, if he comes on, LOOK OUT.

 

Teams won't run on us, and will get sacked before they can pass.

 

So my question is, where do we rank?

 

 

 

I think Top 10. Since we haven't seen the field yet.

 

 

Come playoff time though, this defense might be top 5. We gonna be scary barring injury.

It's been awhile since I haven't been nervous about our secondary. Having Webb back calms me down quite a bit though. I say we finish top 10, easily.

I honestly believe we will be the #1 defense in all of the NFL this year. The chemistry and belief needs to develop unless it already exists.

josh bynes...obviously hes earned his spot with a good camp. i am a bit scepitical though.

I say top 10 only because I don't think Jimmy Smith is going to make a huge break through this year. But we will be more than solid as long as the offense doesn't turn the ball over too much.

Yeah, what's going on with Jones anyways? All I've heard/read about is that its an illness that may sideline him for a decent amount of time. I was thinking of the worst, but Harbs said that it's nothing life threatening or anything like that.
