Dump Thread v6.0 - Defending Super Bowl Champions +35

You can say that about a lot of people off the blogs :P

If the facepalm graphic didn't break the sig rules I'd be rocking that for a while.  I don't want to get rid of my bird avatar, otherwise I'd put it there.

Nah, the REAL crazies are loose in the blogs. One guy qouted back a post and called the poster an idiot and said it was the stupidest post he's ever seen. Broke my heart to have to delete it. It was pretty accurate.

Haha. That's awesome.

Man I'm glad the people in RT have no say on our team...

Seriously. There'd only be about 5 players left on our roster and most of the coaches would be gone.

We've had some bad spots since I've been here, but this might be the worst I've seen it.  Between the ridiculous amount of threads created, many of which are repeating ideas, and the massive amount of negativity, it's really bad.  And we lost one game to a really good team, what the heck did these people expect to happen this season?  Like Sizzle said, we kinda knew we weren't going 16-0.

I'm sure a lot of other teams fans are looking at the Ravens forum, click on Ravens talk and get a good laugh.

Saw minion punch flavored Gushers today, with a "naturally flavored" declaration below the flavor.

All those poor minions...

It's been way worse. Now we have enough cooler heads to keep the lid on. A few years ago we had mostly venting newbies.

Yea I remember worse than this.  This isn't too bad.  But it is more than expected right after winning the Super Bowl.  But I attribute it to bandwagon fans who don't understand that losing happens.  It happens.

So anyone have any tips for keeping house plants alive? I kill everything I touch.

Light and Water.  That's all.  Ofcourse the more exotic of a plant, the more needy it becomes.

Deeper options.  Change to a bigger pot, give it some new potting soil on top, change location (not enough sun, too little sun), and prune dead leaves/branches.

A tidy plant is a happy plant.

Are you over-watering?  Are the leaves like soft yet dying?  Or are they crisp and dead?

I would say more to the latter. I keep it in a spot where it gets some direct light but not too much. Maybe changing to a bigger pot will help.

The latter would be a sign of under-watering.  Though that might not be the reason for its suffering, just a thought.

Pick a location in Florida and water your palm whenever it rains there.

This. You can set your watch to "early evening" by the rain right now. Free car wash. Who's complaining?

Sweet lord, I am! Last night from 3-6 we had a terrible storm and my dog was having a mental breakdown... He was howling and whimpering and tried to lay on my face numerous times. Luckily I didn't have to get up til 6:30...
