They are the underdogs because it's in SF.  The spread isn't that big, so if it was in GB, it would likely be the other way around.

We all know Matthews is a ticking time bomb.  With Tolbert also injured, Woodhead would be SD's backup.  Their O-line woes will no doubt lead to more injuries in the near future.
