Week 7 Recap:

13 games - well 10 if you don't count Ravens 3 (10 last week) separating the top from the active bottom.  The active field is still hasn't changed in three weeks.  Really surprised no one picked Buffalo to beat Miami.  That's a shocker.

Traitors:  None

Going Against the Grain: H8R (Indy) *Golf Clap*

Dropouts (missed multiple weeks):  GRENDELWULF21, SeaHawk, Poes Crows

Broken Promises a.k.a. Crush Knows:  7th place

Cream of the Crop:

  1. PuRock - Back at 1 and it feels so good!  4th straight week at top or tied at top for most picks right.
  2. ravens__ - Also finishes with double digit picks in the week to stay tied at top.
  3. 1/28/01 - Newcomer to the crop.  Crushed it in week 7.  Most picks right (11)
  4. Gabe's picks - Thought he picked Giants, but didn't.  Dropped him from the tie at 1st.
  5. flaccopoe - Not a good week, dropped this week's score which allowed him to stay in the crop.

Bottom of the Barrel:

  1. Ravens 3 - Another week, the same story.  The unsaved week 4 picks are still hurting.
  2. Miami Hurricane - Not a good way to get out of the barrel.  Only 7 picks in wk 7, forced to drop the week.
  3. Arnie uk - Has hit double digit picks in only 1 week.  Not since week 2.
  4. SpiderWebb21 - Not a bad week 7 (9 picks), just couldn't get past the people in front of him.
  5. TheBlackDog - Strong week 7 (10 picks), also couldn't get past the people in front.  Still 2 game gap to get to 6th worst

Just me or does this seem to be one of the easiest weeks to pick in recent memory? Of course, now that I've said that there will be double digit upsets.

It did seem quite easy.

Detroit-Dallas is one I keep going back and forth on. There's one upset I can see happening that I'm simply not brave enough to pick.

1/28/01 either forgot to make his picks in time for Thursday Night Football or they didn't save. Sucks.

The way the drops work and with tie-breakers, I'm on the brink of top 5.  Need to keep rising, I've been consistent if nothing else.

Vick down, Barkley in, and that's one loss for me on the week.

Vick down again? I was watching the Detroit game. What happened?

Red Zone didn't cover it, but who knows.  Vick is always going down.

I guess Miami did motivate McKinnie, Dolphins offensive line looked great in the first half.

Giants pick looking ok so far.

Can't believe so many people bet on a broken-down Michael Vick team, especially after what Eli did to a similar secondary on Monday night!  Also bemused but not surprised that so many people jumped on the Falcons' bandwagon.

I finally showed back up again for the first time since Week 1.  I doubt there will be much movement this week in the final two games.  See you again in Week 15.

Also, not many people seem to realize that the Raiders OWN the Steelers.

To be fair, they only lost due to a rare missed FG from Suisham.

It's always something when they play them.  They have lost to them 3 straight times for some reason.  Excuses mean nothing.  When the Steelers play the Raiders, they lose, and they miss the playoffs.
