Thank Goodness this game starts at 8:30. I have class until 7:00, and it's an hour away from my house, so I should get home just in time to prepare the nachos and find the comfy spot on my couch from last season

Yea there is too much wrong with this thread that's getting me nervous about the game.  First Admin 3 double dips on her posts, so the pool picture (which is very well done) doesn't show up until unlucky post #3.  

 

Then we get a second pool picture, which really isn't a pool picture at all.  If people really want to share their picture in the GT, they need to do a stakeout and get that elusive post 2.  Its a privilege not a right.

It's funny, if you go to their boards now you will see them talking about how cocky we are.  Its fine for them to be cocky (always justified), but we aren't allowed to be.

I've never met a decent, smart ravens fan. They're all morons, and they all disappeared until last year.

Sorry, I have to disagree. I've heard maybe one Ravens fan that is worried about this game. I was in Mother's on Sunday.

 

Another one,  plenty of us are worried about this game.  But we are always confident in our team's ability even in the toughest of challenges.  Last year's playoff run should be a testament to that.  I'm sorry we don't lay down the red carpet for opposing fans.

What a complete mess that thread is!! For being the reigning Super Bowl Champs, I don't even think we're cocky enough! Never in my life have I seen a fanbase come out like they did on that particular game. Which in the end made the victory all the more sweet.

Its funny because you see many of the same arguments they had about us last year.  That they are 9.5 point favorites for a reason.  

 

In the playoffs they said we wouldn't be able to stop them because our defense was too old,  now they are saying we can't win because we are missing those guys that they previously called 'old'.  

 

Then they poke fun that all we'll want to talk about is last year.  Yeeeaa!  Winning the SB is sorta of a big deal.

I see this as being one of our toughest game this year. Let the Broncos fans be overly confident, just like in January. If we win, then we'll see who's laughing. I feel we can win, but it will not be an easy game. It's going to be a hot day at the high altitude stadium, and we do have a lot of newcomers. Denver now has nice additions such as Wes Welker to work with their future Hall of Fame QB Peyton Manning. Am I worried? No, and neither should you be. We have Jim Caldwell, who showed us what he can do as OC during the playoffs. He's probably been planning for this game for months. We have new weapons on offense. I'm hoping we see our rookies show up during this game, plus we have Stokely who could turn into a reliable WR for Joe. Our defense looks great, even better than last year. I'm excited to see Webb back in action and our pass rush. We love to be the underdogs. We love to be the bad guys. I don't doubt our team, and I hope we put on a show for the NFL opener. I am so excited to see this game. Go Ravens!

At least we won the SB to hang our hats on if we lose,  we still beat them when it mattered the most.  So to me the pressure is all on the Broncos in this game.  Once again, we got nothing to lose, especially being on the road as heavy underdogs.
