Terrence Cody Apology

Cody played extremely well in his 2nd season. And was a big reason for a 2nd ranked run defense where he started every game.

Yes, he was awful last year. god awful. And would have probably been IRed if we had more depth. But when healthy he's been good enough to see the field and help us win.

No he will not be resigned. He will probably play somewhere else and have a solid NFL career. But this hatred towards him is sorely misplaced.

EDIT: Not extremely well, but people need to CALM DOWN on Cody.

Cody had one good game in his rookie season, against Atlanta. Second year was inconsistent, at best. Last year was horrendous. Why calm down when he is a career underachiever?

I'm not apologizing for calling it how I see it. He played like crap last year, injury or not. 

 

Here's my two cents. He was on his way to becoming a great NT in his second year. He had down moments, but our run D was  great. If you run a 3-4 and you have a good run D, your NT is doing his job well. He's looking great so far this year. He's back to the level he was at in 2011.
