N 'if' L: What if Joe Flacco's Hail Mary in Denver fell flat?

a "Hail Mary" pass is when all the WRers run to the endzone & there a jump ball.......That being said!!!! When one WRer gets behind the D to catch a deep pass thrown to him, BY DEFINITION it isn't & will never be a "Hail Mary" pass.

P.S Stop trying to steal my QBs thunder, He beat Denver with his arm & make the same play again in the Super Bowl against the 49ers for another TD to J. Jones.

He makes long passes all the time. Its his thing. Even the haters agree that he has one of the strongest arms in the league.

I don't like Dameshek, he's a bit too "Hipster-analyst" for me going on about stupid things like Uniforms and such.

 

But the N-If-L is enjoyable albeit for the stealth trolls he likes to put in there (against the Ravens/Flacco - such as when he implied the "Texans could've easily made it if someone like Joe can make it" or something to that effect). Yeah, nothing to get too worked up over.

Meh - I understand that it's a joke, and frankly, he didn't even bash the Ravens at all in it, he barely even talked about the ravens after the first 30 - 45 seconds.

 

But that doesn't make Dameshek any less idiotic and useless.  Almost everything he is a part of on the NFL website is supposed to be amusing, but it isn't.  He thinks that if he shouts something loud enough at the camera, that it will make it amusing.  I don't know if I'd like him any more if he wasn't a Steelers homer, but since he is, I immediately skip past most of his crap whenever I'm on the website.

 

 

 

Also...did anyone else find this N "if" L piece not amusing?  I mean, I wasn't insulted by it, and I don't think it was meant to be insulting, but it also wasn't funny at all, and most of it didn't make any sense.  It was like someone took acid then just started drawing weird cartoons.

 

EDIT: And just to clarify, once again.  I'm not saying that it wasn't amusing because it was about the Ravens, and because it was by Dameshek.  I know it's not meant to be serious etc etc etc.  It just wasn't funny...

If your logic is convoluted and baseless then, yes, you have a point.

 

There is no debate in debasing how someone feels about an issue, if you think the "joke" is funny then say so, don't lambaste someone else for thinking it is tripe.

My original post was to inform the OP and whoever else was offended that this wasn't a shot at us.  Their borderline angry posts made it seem like they had no idea that this was a joke. I wasn't complaining about others complaining. You accused others of whining and crying about people whining and crying.  I called you a hypocrite because you made it sound like when we call others out, we're complaining, but when you do it, you're not.   

 

We have a right to tell one another on this board when we think we're going over the top.  It's an internet forum.

No, I was calling people out because I thought they were misinformed.  Then, I saw that people did get it but were still offended, which I was flabbergasted by.  I'm allowed to think that someone else's opinion is crazy.
