Not too shabby. There is a warm spot by Nurple, though.

I wonder if STL will play their starters like last year?

They do have a lot of youth that needs to be baptized by fire.

Yeah. My bad. Figured I'd TCB before it filled up

I thought I heard somewhere that they would, in fact, play their starters for a good amount of time. A Rams fan buddy of mine said the same thing.

One would think that's the case for consistent cellar dwellers.

But I'd be shocked to see their defensive starters out there

I'm really excited for this game.

I never am.  I always get upset because I know for many of these guys, this will be the last time they don an NFL uniform. The end of the road for many dreams.

Yeah. That's true. That part is very unfortunate. I get excited over seeing these guys step up. While I recognize that the dream is there, I honestly believe in many but certainly not all cases that desire and passion to succeed will overcome physical shortcomings. I feel like if they want it badly enough they'll make it somehow.

I actually enjoy the 4th preseason game the most.  The first 3 games are kind of boring since not everyone's giving 100% to avoid injury.  In the last game, it seems that all of these bubble players play their hearts out.  It doesn't always work out, but it's nice to see some serious effort.

I do love it from that aspect.  People always complain that its no names.  But at least you know these guys are giving everything they have.

The majority of the players really aren't even bubble players.  We've seen players on the 'bubble' play lights out in the 4th game only to get cut every time.  I'm pretty convinced that the team pretty much has their 53-man roster locked up in their heads by now.

Yeah Harbaugh actually alluded to that the other day.  He said that the roster was pretty much set, with only a few open spots.  I imagine those are RB, WR, TE, and S.  But hey, the players don't know specifically, so they go out there and play their hearts out.  If it doesn't work here, they just hope to put enough on tape for another team to come calling.

I'm going to be interested to see what the ratings are like for this game vs. the Orioles game... something tells me the Ravens game could get a higher rating given the Orioles' recent choke jobs.

Almost forgot there was a game tonight.

Same here.  I got too caught up in the roster cuts and college football kicking off tonight.
