How has Paul Kruger looked so far?

I haven't had the chance to watch a Browns game so far. I was wondering how does Paul Kruger look in their defense? Also how about Dave Kruger?

Haven't heard anything about him, saw some Brown games and didn't notice much.  I know Cary Williams isn't showing anything when I watched him and ESPN is calling Ellerbe overrated right now.

Fixed :P

Doesn't suck half as bad as California.   LOL

Unless Kruger improves on his run defense, I believe Browns fans are in for a disappointment.

One dimensional pass rusher who is getting wayyyy overpaid to do his job. Dumervil is a better player and he's getting half of what Kruger is making.

Exactly why I have no regrets about letting him go. Kruger had a great character and a great pass rusher. However, before Suggs came back he played heavily in run support, and he just couldn't do it.

The Conqueror Worm made the following post in the blogs:

"Kruger - $40 Million
Dumervil -$35 Million

That's why the Browns are the Browns"

So true.

Enough of the BS. Seriously, anyone watched the Browns. I'm seriously curious. lol

Basically, no. I'd advise looking at one of the Browns' websites. Perhaps PFF has some insight into his performance too.

I honestly have never watched a browns game that didn't involve the Ravens playing them or them embarrassing the Squeelers..oh I watched them almost put the city of Philadelphia on suicide watch last year..but that's it.

Kruger isn't anything special. Not good against the run, not good in coverage, not a special teamer..Really, he's just an average (at best) pass rusher he'll pick up a few sacks per season on blown assignments that's about it. I can't remember many times when he just flat out beat his man

Kruger was an absolute beast at rushing the QB last year. I'm curious to see if he can continue to play on that level this year.

With that said I'll take Doom over him all day. Both are great pass rushers

Dollar says Kruger gets his hands on Joe a few times.

No sack though.

All I have to say is, good for him. He cashed in after helping a team win a Superbowl. Whether he goes down as a collosal bust or not, he did the right thing for him. He won't be the first to flame out after cashing in after a Superbowl, and he won't be the last. I'm happy all the guys that had career years and helped us win got big paydays as a reward. I'm also happy it wasn't us that decided to foot those bills.
