His pass protection held up when he was blocking Wolfe, but he's a DT playing end. It was a different story against Phillips.


He looked a bit off in his kick step, but he's a rookie later round pick. I don't expect him to be flawless in a game he wasn't even supposed to play in. On the bright side, he showed some actual power and some fight. That's more than we've seen from Jah Reid in three years.

I think it will. He was a 240 pound TE in his freshman year of college, so he could still fill out his frame a bit more and get stronger.

Wow.  Can you imagine going from 240 to 310 in four years?  I don't think I gained a pound in college, and I lifted and ate plenty.  I guess a guy like Wagner has the frame to pack all that muscle onto.  

 

Probably why he's in the NFL and I'm pecking away at a keyboard.
