Ozzie makes the move we're waiting for(Trade for WR)?

With all the moves recently, I felt the urge to discuss this very possible move. All the cap maneuvers cant just be for saving money. This IMO has to be part of something bigger. We have been speculating on this since the Anquan trade. Why should we ignore the signs now when they're staring us in the face.

Commence the speculation.

The only real cap move is McClain. Johnson and Reed saved pennies. This is nothing more than getting rid of guys that won't make the team. This isn't a precursor to any big move.

why stockpile rbs when we have an anthony allen and damien berry, no matter how unspectacular they may be? Why cut chris johnson so early? If it was for pennies, why now, considering asa's suspension and what not?

Sure, there is nothing substantial to really point your finger at. The question still looms though. Could you have gotten anything else for reed? Perhaps, a scrub TE or S.Especially with our depth. This may seem crazed but I, like everyone else, is itching for something to bite on. Now, seems like the right time to tug on the line.

Mod needs to change the title to show complete speculation.

This isnt happening, at least trading Rice/Pierce will not happen.

You save a whole $275k (remember rule of 51) from Johnson and Reed. Nothing more than weeding out what isn't needed.

And not to mention that Oz doesn't operate this franchise like the Raiders seem to do. He wouldn't just make a trade for absolutely no reason at all.
