Preseason 3 - Baltimore Ravens vs. Carolina Panthers

Everybody's down on this offense. When our starters were in on the first and second drive,, we did our thing. I'm not worried at all that Joe couldn't move the ball that well with our young back up receivers.

omg. I can't believe they are calling that shoulder bump a personal foul.

that is beyond ridiculous.

Does he?  He's not going to be a starter - I think all he needs to show is that he's one of the 6 best receivers on the team.  And right now he's at least to my eyes acquitting himself better than Doss.

In terms of making the team, no.  Because every one is inconsistent.  But the competition is open for the #3 spot as well as the #2.  That's what everyone is talking about.

Brandon Stokley and Marlon Brown are definitely winning me over tonight to be the #2 and #3 WR's. Jacoby can't be consistent enough to be a starter, Doss is throwing his chances away, Laquan can't get hot with the starters, and there are no real other receivers that stand out to me to start (I do like Mellette, but only as depth). Current Depth Chart IMO:

1) Torrey

2) Stokley

3) Jacoby

4) M. Brown

5) Laquan

6) Mellette

I also think they stash Thompson away on IR to have next year for when they get rid of Jacoby

That's a good call though. Elam gave him a headbutt. Cannot do that.

That said, liking the fact that our 2's can run with their 1's.
