Looking at our current WR situation I can't help but wonder if we see the FO go out and pickup a solid veteran WR to complement Torrey. With that in mind I was curious to see what kind of savings to the cap could be had with some judicious cuts to our WR's and TE's to create a little more money. Cuts could be made elsewhere I am sure but I will leave it just as it is. So here's what we have available that would create cap room. I have left Torrey off of this list for obvious reasons.
David Reed $380,000 savings
Tandon Doss $452,000 savings
Laquan Williams $555,000 savings
Jacoby Jones $3,000,000 savings
Dallas Clark $620,000 savings
Brandon Stokley $620,000 savings
Now if you are the GM and you need to free up some money (more money means a better player) to acquire a serviceable WR who would you cut and what would the reasoning be?
