I don't think guys who wear gloves are wimps :P Not many guys don't wear gloves and catch like that though, I can only think of Fred Biletnikoff .. Dallas Clark just has phenomenal hands and a knack for getting open. Flacco will enjoy throwing to 1st downs to him.

Hilarious. The only thing funnier would be watching Dickson pretend that he belongs on the field with other starters.

Yeah, he's a great target. I liked how during the second half he was just talking to Joe. I think they can build some real chemistry together.

 

 

Also telling is that he, played with Peyton Manning his whole career, then Manning went down and he had Painter/Orlovsky/Collins and then Josh Freeman. So, this off-season his most important thing was going to a team with a really good QB.

 

Flacco throws balls with a lot of zip on them. Hopefully Dallas doesn't pop a finger out of its socket catching them, but he's a very tough guy, so he'll probably still hold on. 

Honestly, week 1 will be very interesting. But down the stretch, I wonder if Dallas will start over Ed Dickson, and who (obviously) will be the #2 WR.

Biletnikoff had stickum, which is far better than gloves!  I think that guy could catch with his forearm, since it was probably coated in that stuff.

I guess we have to move our benefit of the doubt away from Shiancoe, who actually caught the ball tonight, and move it to Dallas.  I didn't think I would see him look nervous, but he sure was.  I know he has better skills than he put on display in his preseason debut.

The first attempt not being a completion was fine, but he dropped a ball that hit him in the chest.  Dallas was very disappointing tonight.

Well last game, Stokley never got one target. In this one, he made two crucial catches. I think it's just a lack of chemistry. I have faith he'll step it up.

Yeah, let him knock the rust off, first preseason game, two weeks into the offense. I'm not passing too much judgment. He's a proven guy with a proven set of mitts. He'll be fine.
