I can't agree. Not necessarily. It's hard to say Jensen would have been better than Shipley. I wish I could have seen Jensen compete against Shipley, though. 

 

It's not like I was saying it was a definite.  I said he might have been playing for a roster spot if Jensen proved he was decent.  Other than that possible difference, I don't think anything would have changed in the center competition with Jensen healthy.  In fact, I highly doubt Jensen would have been looked at as better than Shipley by anyone, but if he showed he could be a backup that wasn't abysmal, Shipley's spot on the team might have been in jeopardy.  Why not save a draft pick instead of keeping three capable centers?  There are plenty of other positions we could keep an extra guy.
