I mean, we're starting threads all over the place for newsworthy players right? So I'll go ahead and announce myself as the Official President of the Aaron Mellette fanclub.
Harbs chewed him out in front of everyone, straight up embarrassed him. A lesser player would've taken his ball and went home. But Aaron has worked, and it clearly showed. Even before last night, I went to the practice on Sunday, and I remember having to constantly look at my roster sheet asking "who the heck is #13?"
I know it's just preseason, and he's going against 2s, 3s, and 4s, but when you have it, you have it, and frankly none of the other receivers not named Torrey have shown much. This is definitely optimism, but last night I saw a guy who doesn't fear contact, is confident, and eagerly goes for the ball. He has heart, and I hope he continues to improve and gets a chance with the first team.
