Justice has been served:

I actually got to watch the sentencing during my lunch break, while shouting, "Yeah!" after the sentence was read for each count.

Uh... I am not convinced that this wasnt the justice systems attempt at redemption for him killing his wife and getting away with it. People get less time for much worse crimes.

Agreed, I know they have screwed up in the past but guys like Plax are gonna get creamed when there are thugs running around with unregistered guns who get off everyday.

I hate seeing the mayor coming out and saying, "we should prosecute to the fullest extent of the law"..... why? you should do that to everyone, not just people who get you on TV.

I love justice being served, and I love police officers but I hate when it turns into a revenge suit or a political stand against certain people. Justice should be served when need be in a set sentence, not judged on who the culprit is.

Venting: done

Actually if you listened to the judge, she gave him a lesser of the sentences the "problem" was the way he was charged, they made things stick like kidnapping vs false imprisonment. I was listening to the legal gurus on Fox
