Preseason 2 - Baltimore Ravens vs. Atlanta Falcons

Yeah, he's still taking random naps with his narcolepsy but overall he's had some good pushes. He looks better than last year, but as was said, that wasn't too hard lol. He's a decent rotational player. I think he's getting winded, honestly. 

 

He has looked better.  I think that also comes with a different mental attitude as well.  He knows he has to show. He's also playing deeper down the depth chart.

Not that I think he'd be a star, because if he was really good he could succeed in different ways, but if we played more press coverage it would help Jimmy.

No. Thankfully this is likely not how the team will look when we play Denver in 3 weeks.

I will say that Jimmy Smith might get some heat but Chykie Brown looks terrible against the run. Jimmy looks a lot better than him in that regard. 

this might sound absolutely crazy but if jimmy smith bulked up, u think he could play OLB? +30 lbs , i know it would never happen, but i like the kid for some reason, just dont think he stands a chance at cb

Rainey seems to lack that extra boost.  I feel like he hits top speed and there's not much explosion.

He also was bounced off the RB as well as looked pretty bad earlier when they ran at him directly when Jacquizz was in the game.

Rather my CB be suspect against the run than what they are supposed to be good at. Guarding the pass.

He's faster then Rice on the top end, who gets caught from behind by LBs regularly

I think so.  I don't think the Broncos will be as football ready as we will be.  Especially after I heard Dumervil comments about how he's taking more reps in TC than he normally takes (In Denver).  Manning is in a plastic bubble.  They have O-line concerns.  

 

Plus we are stellar w/ lots of time to game plan.  I think we go in there and surprise week 1.

Yeah not by much.  If he's going to be a returner, he needs more explosion.  I haven't been too impressed, despite his return last week.

Chykie isn't much better than Jimmy, if at all. Brown has had plenty of mistakes and has looked poor just as much.
