Runner-up goes to poe!  :229031_cheer:  I'm excited to see Flacco face his Class of '08 nemesis, Matt Ryan.

Just a silly tradition started a few years ago. No rhyme or reason that I can recall.

I'm still sitting on my pool picture I had saved from last season.  I'll get first again one of these days.

The year before last the post time of the thread was really consistent, I got first post on about half the threads because my break in class happened to fall then.

The first person "into the pool" of posting in the game thread has to post a pool picture or we're jinxed.

That should be a mod rule. like in the rulebook.

Yup, and we've made the playoffs each year and won a Superbowl doing it, so it's been a good tradition for sure that will continue...

Sadly, my Ray back flop will no longer be used. Im working on a gooden for later in the year ;)

Edit - I'd like to think it was part of the amazing run last year as well. It was used on each playoff game last year if I recall.

I'm expecting our starters to go pretty long this game. Kind of like how they usually play deep into the 3rd preseason game. I think they play deep into the 2nd quarter, and maybe the whole first half. I'm not expecting us to play into the 3rd next week.

I don't think we're playing any starters week 4 because of playing Denver so early to start the year so that's why I think we'll play more tonight. Does that make sense?

Does anyone know the site that has a map of all the game availabilities in the country?  For example, it would show you whether the Broncos game was going to be aired in Nevada or if the Steelers game was going to be aired in Maine.

That's the 506.  But they don't do coverage maps for preseason games,  they'll start them up when the regular season starts.

But if you click on the preseason week numbers.  It'll show all the affiliates airing the game (and in what cities).
