Poes Crows

Ray Rice for Anquan Boldin

8 posts in this topic

A incomprehensible trade a couple months ago, but who could have foreseen jettisoning Boldin in regard to how valuable he was to the Ravens? ( Both valuable and durable.) Now things have changed, the Young receivers have proven to be vastly overestimated and co-possession stalwart Denis Pitta is done for the year.

The Ravens have running backs, but they need something much worse. Bernard Pierce has shown enough to indicate he can more than fill the bill. Damien Berry and the back from Kentucky can spell him.

It's time to do the unconventional. It's time to bring Boldin back in exchange for Rice. Among brothers, this deal can be done. The season depends upon it.

Young RB >>>>> Aging Receiver

If you want to trade for someone make sure it's of equal value. Boldin has maybe 2 years left in his carreer and Rice is in his mid 20s. You could easily get a 2nd, if not 1st round pick for Ray and get a much better receiver through the draft. Way to overreact to a couple reports.

Is this a joke?  It better be, or else you are never qualified to speak about football again.

And you don't even know (1) his name and (2) the correct college he attended.  You deserve every bit of bashing you'll get in this thread before it gets locked.

C'mon man - That boils down to Rice for a 6th round pick. Seriously?

Pierce had one good season. This is the epitome of "win this year at all costs", that's the only reason to suggest it.

Remember one of Biscotti's early post-SB interviews, where he stated that the goal was to keep the team in contention for years to come, not to go for broke winning it this coming year?

Well, what's your suggesting is the exact opposite of that. :P

Not to mention, I love Q, but I'd take Ray Rice over two of him.

I wouldn't trade my top 5 RB who's just as important in the pass game as he is in the run game for an injury prone, 32 year old possession WR who doesn't have much speed left. Anquan is my second favorite WR ever, but you just can't make a trade like this. Call me crazy, but I think Dallas will pick up a lot of of the slack and he'll be a workhorse for our offense
