You took Marshall in the 2nd? So who is your RB2?

I have something in the works right now, so I'll get back to you on that.

So I ended up going Graham-Dez in my long time 12-team ppr money league. But that isn't the worst part. I passed up Foster @12 & 13.

If we didn't have to start 3 WRs, I probably would have gone Foster. But I really wanted the Dez-Jimmy combo in this league. The gamble on RBs didn't turn out that bad. Since this is a 3 WR and 6 point PATD league, other positions were going.

So I ended up with Jimmy-Graham, then Bush-Gore (no one was high on Bush this league). The next wrap-around I got Giovani. I also added Ingram & Ivory. Not to bad. Hurting a bit at QB w/ Wilson.

I think you made out fantastic.

Who are your other starting WRs?

We still haven't heard who his WRs, K and D are.

Below is my final roster, I put how many players I need to start in ( ), we also have a RB/WR/TE flex.  Like I said this is a 3WR, 6PATD, PPR league:

QB (1) - Wilson, Vick

RB (2) - Bush, Gore, Giovani, Ingram, Ivory, Hunter, Redman (waivers)

WR (3) - Dez, Antonio Brown, Michael Floyd, Alshon Jeffery, Patterson, Kenny Stills (Sleeper)

TE (1)- Jimmy Graham, Zach Sudfeld

DEF - Steelers (vs. Titans wk 1)

K - None (Dropped for Redman on waivers)

Thought it turned out pretty well, even though I am ranked 4th from last in projections  Hoping I can get a sleeper WR to break out.  But not to worried about the position w/ Dez, Brown.  Little worried about Wilson in a 6PATD league.

You don't feel guilty about having 3 Steelers? :p

Not at all.  I'm not going to keep the Steelers D or Redman very long.  The only one I need to be reliable on the season is Brown.  In a ppr league, I think he'll hold his own.

You like Michael Floyd huh? I'm not sure I'm buying in there.

Either am I.  But after Antonio Brown I drafted 2 QBs & 2 more RBs. Floyd was good value at the time.

I'm not a Floyd believer, but I can convince myself to be.  Last year in this same offense, Donnie Avery had 124 targets (almost top-20).  That's 5 less targets than Julio Jones.  His problem was that he couldn't catch the ball.  Arizona's offense will be very similar with Fitzgerald commanding a lot of attention.  So if Floyd can be more effective than Avery, which I think he can be, he'll be a very solid #3 WR.

Besides if it doesn't work out, I'm usually able to find WRs off the street during the season to get the job done.  Last year ended up with Danario & Hartline as well as other contributors.

My team as it sits right now:

Matt Ryan

Sam Bradford (heard RGIII is coming off IR, picking him and dropping Bradford) * Waiver 1/2 *

CJ Spiller

Doug Martin
Bernard Pierce

Jimmy Graham

Owen Daniels

Julio Jones

Dwayne Bowe

DeSean Jackson

T.Y. Hilton

Miles Austin

Justin Tucker

Carolina Panthers
Baltimore Ravens

Question: Should I trade Pierce for Daryl Richardson (STL) who is coming off IR... or one of my receivers/TE for Brandon Marshall (CHI)?

Who do you think will have the better year, Darren McFadden or Steven Jackson?

I kinda wanna trade McFadden away.

My two RB starters would be Steven Jackson and Alfred Morris.

Definitely Jackson. I would be very happy with Jackson and Morris.

HB Steven Jackson

WR Lance Moore

for

HB Darren McFadden

HB Ryan Matthews

WR Mike Wallace

Am I giving up too much for Jackson? Not enough?

I'm giving him another starter in McFadden plus some depth at HB with Ryan Matthews and Moore will probably get more points than Mike Wallace.

This trade seems fair.  I would rather have the Jackson/Moore combo (especially in a ppr format).  You will be losing some RB depth, so make sure you are comfortable with your depth after the move.

I like it from your perspective.  I'm not a fan of McFadden, Matthews, or Wallace but I am of Jackson and Moore.

I think you are giving up too much personally. I'm not a big fan of the guys you are trading, but its still too much value for the upgrade at RB.

If you can get Jackson for Mcfaden do it fast and don't look back.

My RB depth is the thing. I might try to work a trade to get a solid bench player in case I were to get rid of Ryan Matthews. Because I'd love to have Julio/Garcon, SJax/Alfred Morris in my starting lineup. PPR.

I wouldn't make that trade. Mathews & McFadden are just too risky. Jackson is way safer, and has a lot of upside.

He's trading for Jackson I thought.

Anyways I'd make that deal. All three of those backs will eventually be injured, just like every other year, but Jackson should outproduce both them put together. The difference between Moore and Wallace should be negligible as well, but I expect Wallace to produce less in Miami than many people do.

Great deal for you, dumping extremely injury-ridden/underperforming players.
