I feel about my draft so far. Basically got Foster in a trade for my 1.

 

Drafted D. Thomas 10th overall, and Vernon Davis 24th overall.

I have Rodgers so I could get the Nelson connection. I don't think TY will fall. And I really want Welker but I already have Thomas

Nelson is nursing a knee injury and could miss a couple of weeks. Jones won't come close to his 14tds this year but could have more catches with Nelson and Cobb nursing injuries and Jennings being gone.

I was going to say go Amendola.  You already have DT and Rodgers.  Think its too early for Hilton since he's still the #3 WR and there are a lot of targets to go around.  Amendola is going to be the apple of Brady's eye in a high-powered offense.  He just needs to stay healty.  

 

I'm not high on either Nelson or James Jones as well. The only Packers WR that I want and who should be consistent is Cobb.  Those two guys spell headaches.

Too late. Chose DeMarco Murray 31st overall. It was a last minute call and I just wanted it to be over with. I think it was good value, reward/risk. Not too much of a gap or drop off at WR's in the next 13 picks. Murray might not be injury prone, he could've just been unlucky his first two years. This year decides that for me.

In that minute my gut kicked in,
superstition kicked in,
read that Vickers is gone so more single back formations,
thought of how deadly the cowboys passing game could be (him included),
remembered Felix was traded,
and read that they're really putting emphasis on fixing the run game (2nd last year in rushing attempts - wont happen again).

Also read RB's at age 25 get the most fantasy points rather then any other age. Don't understand it but Murray is 25 haha.

I don't usually reach out for help but I was so stuck with that pick.

You can never go wrong with a RB in any round.  Besides, I have Murray ranked higher than all those receivers anyways.

That's tough right now.  It looked liked Dunbar was running away with the job but then he sprained his foot and will be sidelined for 3-4 weeks.  Plus you never know with foot sprains. Randle would be the next guy but he has failed to impress.

I mean, I got praises and hate from people for taking D Thomas and V Davis. Nothing for Murray. I think I'm drafting at good value for not having a lot of picks.

I made the first two choices in no less then a minute because they were no brainers in my circumstance. It took me a good hour and a half to choice Murray. I almost took Cutler for a good back up to RG3 and bye week replacement for both Griffin & Rodgers, plus he's in contract year and what looks to be, improved offense. I think he could be had 13 picks from now, him or Palmer.

Foster's health status is looking very questionable.  You need options if his leg numbness worsens.

How do you guys feel about the Steelers D this year? They were #1 overall in real life (5th in ppg), I'm talking fantasy though.

Think they will be solid.  The problem with the Steelers is that they aren't very opportunistic with turnovers anymore.  But if you get neg'd for large points scored against, you could do worse.

So I ended up going Graham-Dez in my long time 12-team ppr money league.  But that isn't the worst part.  I passed up Foster @12 & 13.  

 

If we didn't have to start 3 WRs, I probably would have gone Foster.  But I really wanted the Dez-Jimmy combo in this league.  The gamble on RBs didn't turn out that bad.  Since this is a 3 WR and 6 point PATD league, other positions were going.

 

So I ended up with Jimmy-Graham, then Bush-Gore (no one was high on Bush this league).  The next wrap-around I got Giovani.  I also added Ingram & Ivory.  Not to bad.   Hurting a bit at QB w/ Wilson.
