I would definitely agree, if this weren't Dickson's fourth year (insinuation being that Dickson has been given plenty of opportunities to be the guy, but has -- ahem -- dropped the ball)...I think we should just let him and Clark fight it out, and the best man can be our main guy this season til Pitta comes back.

Well, again I think we're going to do a lot of two TE sets. They compliment each other nicely lol.

I've always been a big fan of Clark tho. Loved the guy ever since he was in Indy

Us signing Clark could be a great milestone for Dickon's career. He has an opportunity to learn a lot from Clark.

Dont sleep on Shiancoe! hes having a great camp right now too! It could very well be Shiancoe and Clark. About 5 years back, if these 2 TEs were on your team, they would have been the Gronk and Hernandez before Gronk and Hernandez

i was sceptical about him at first but when i read that he went to Shipley during a series the other day and physically moved him to the spot he had to be at, says miles about Shiancoe's committment to the team and how fast he learned the playbook

Just because the Ravens signed Shiancoe, doesn't mean he stays on the team. He's only being paid the veteran minimum.

That said, Furstenberg may, indeed, be the eventual odd man out if Clark is signed.

That's a shame because I really like Furstenburg. He has been beasting in camp, and was a beast at Maryland.

I've read the opposite of Shianco. Thus the reason why the Ravens went out got Clark.
Clark is just going to fill in as a pass catching TE like Pitta was. Dickson will still be in the
mix like last year.

I think the competition will come down to Bajema, Shiancoe, and Furstenburg for the 3rd TE spot. Remember Shiancoe was at practice before Pitta got hurt so they must have had interest in signing him as a 3rd TE already.

We all know coach Harbs won't hand starting TE position out easily; you better earn it or you'll be sitting on the bench cold regardless of how public popular you are...

Clark is savy and crafty TE and Vesanthe is tough and strong TE; IDK those two should win #1 and 2 TE cuz of their experienced advantages in the NFL.

I think the TE position is pretty much set now with Dickson, Clark, and Schiancoe. I don't see any of the other guys making the 53 man roster. Bajema is supposed to be a good blocker but I have a hard time seeing his run blocking being so far and away better than Dickson and/or Schiancoe to justify a roster spot over the more talented veterans. Furstenburg has potential and I see him making the practice squad. It looks like Dickson won't be ready for week 1 so we need two veteran TE heading into that game. If you're the Ravens you don't want to go into Denver with only 2 healthy TEs and be left with only an undrafted rookie is something would happen to Clark or Schiancoe. That would be bad.

Since Dickson might miss the Denver game, I expect us to carry both Clark and Shiancoe on the 53 man roster. That stinks for one of our young up and comers since they lose a valuable spot....

Jackson and Thompson are suspended for 8 and 4 games respectively, so they won't count week 1, which could still help the other young ones

I don't know if Stokely nor Clark will be ready for tomorrow night's game but they will be on the roster in Denver.

Correct. Wait, was that a question or just an obvious statement? ;)

Look I know I had my share of run-ins with you, but this year lets call get it a truce. We are all pulling for the same championship caliber team so just a little less rough well you....
