Bernard Pierce Injury Not Serious?

It worries me because he had knee issues last year, and in the first preseason game already has issues with them again.

He's the man but he eased up at the end and got crushed passing the goal line. Watching him try to recover and land on his feet showed me his athleticism. I think he's fine in the same way Dickson's fine this season and Pitta's fine next season (should he re-sign). They say he's fine and I believe them. (Mostly)

I don't think it is too serious but it is a reason why all the calls for Ray Rice to be benched that I was seeing on this board were pretty premature. Pierce isn't very durable period which is why this situation of being a RB2 is perfect for him.

Someone lunging into your knees at full speed when your already a foot into the endzone would give most RB's knees' "issues" lol. Just an unfortunate play, don't think it will have any long term effect on his season though.

Yeah, this is true, but if you are already injury prone in that area, I feel like you are far more likely to hurt something than someone who is not.  And this is more of a long-term worry.  He's only in his second season, yet has had quite a few games where he's had issues with his knees.  How many more of those will we see?

He is a good complimentary to Rice we need him to stay healthy. He was key last late season in our running game.

He got hit hard in his leg. 99 of 100 people would have hurt from that one

I think it looked like he hurt his knee catching his balance after the hit. It was his right knee. Correct?

Agreed the film did not look good for BP, looked like he rolled right into his leg, although RR still has some gas in the tank an I look forward to him having a big year.
