Just curious of how many people on this MB think that Mike Vick will be convicted?. And is there any of you out there that actually think he wont be convicted of "this" crime? Also if convicted how many of you think his NFL Career is done with, basically let's say wiped with my hinneyy and flushed down the toilet?!

P.S Sorry is this thread is a waste of your 2 minute's I am bored and have been thinking the past few day's about Vick's situation. It wont get out of my head especially when all I hear is about it on the radio station every morning.

Add to that the fact that each year we have the "next sure thing" coming into sports it'll be difficult for anyone to get a chance after 6 years of that at the Qb position.

I live in Roanoke, VA, just about a half hour from where Mike Vick went to school (VT). It's all I've been hearing about for the past week or so. I didn't grow up here (Baltimore native), I didn't go to Tech, was never a Tech fan, and I'm not a Falcons fan. I hope they throw the book at him. Hopefully that'll put an end to his 'hype'.

The Court of Public Opinion has already deemed him finished, convicted or not. I don't know if he will ever recover from this...although he will still likely play in the league, somewhere, unless he does get convicted.

Vick is going to get convicted and he will, for some strange reason go to jail in texas ( I think its called allenvile or something in the film) and everyone will hate him. then he will win everyone round and have a game against the guards televised on espn(which the cons win). then he'll get out of jail and peyton manning's arm will have come off in a freak skiing accident, and the colts will pick up vick and he will win the superbowl. then retire.

And all of those players were found innocent.

I agree with you 100% there. While it is a very disturbing thing he is being charged with, it is only a charge for right now. If found guilty then yes he should be punished to the fullest extent but for now, I'm just gonna wait and see. The damage he's getting right now is enough for the current time.

you forgot OJ! cmon hes the ultimate "get outta jail card" kinda guy, even if he does owe what, 60+ mil in legal fees? idn hes just the first guy that comes to my mind when talkin about these things.

As for jumping the gun, thats the medias fault. Public Opinion should have no influence over the trial. Too bad we get fed this stuff like its life and we get caught up in it, forming our own ideas of what actually happened and what not.

I agree on this issue, let it play out without everybody condemning him before due process is murdered by over-zealous media hype

Oh and do I really care about all this? no, but if vick does get through this, i think MKDave was right, he'll probably be scooped up cheap somewhere where they dont really give a damn as long as he can win a game.

Ok everyone bare with me here I am trying to save you all money you will see why when uou are done reading this.

A little off subject but trying to help some of you fans who are or will be turning to EBAY for a McGahee "Authentic" Jersey or another "Authentic" (any "Authentic" jersey under $100.00 bucks is A fake. These RETAIL AT $200-$250.00).

Make sure when purchasing a Jersey that is so called Authentic it has on the size patch the Ravens helmet logo on it.

I know for the Willis McGahee Jersey they forgot to lowercase his C in Mc hahaha on ebay and add the Ravens Helmet Logo to the size label).

I feel sorry for those of you who already bought the full capitalized MCGAHEE SO called Authentic Jersey off of EBAY, I would return it and get my money back unless you do not mind it being fake and people know this. Every fan will know you are wearing a fake Jersey and it will make you look awfully poor *shame*.. you should have noticed the C and common sense should have kicked in we all know or should unless people are uneducated that any Irish last name has a lowercase c in Mc!!.

My vote was for not caring. The sad reality is eventually he will be back. He'll do his time ,pay the fines , serve the suspension and eventually some bottom dweller owner or manager will decide they can get him cheap enough to take the chance. I dont think the endorsements will be back but you will see him on the field again.

a little old now, but youre right, Vick will get a job in the future one way or another and more likely than not itll be at a highly discounted price. however, as of right now im more worried about the atlanta falcons career as a team
