Preseason 1 - Baltimore Ravens at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

That's... legal? Well, I guess since it's the preseason, it's possible...

Yeah, there are only so many numbers for an inflated number of pre-season players. There are also two #34s (Rainey + Moe Lee), #64s (Pericak and Gaines), and #69s (Devey and Larsen)

I know no one actually knows the answer to this; but, why did LaQuan Williams only play special teams, last year? I seem to remember him getting snaps at receiver during his rookie season in 2011. So, what happened?

Inconsistency.  Struggled when lining up against top competition.

keep your foot on their necks after the half Ravens.  get out of Tampa with the "W."

I like this attitude. This pleases me. I prefer violence of action.

Sitting in a bar, finally seeing some of the game.

The only thing I know so far is that John Harbaugh is pretty hot.

Yeah he's a hottie! ;)

He had a very poor preseason last year as a WR.  He still stood out at ST.

Sadly no update on Pierce yet.

I don't think there will be till the end of the game. He got up and ran off the field, at the most, he just hyperextended it.

I am wondering that myself? When did LaQuan get lost in the receiver shuffle? He was injured for some time perhaps, but good question though.

And you know none is touching #52 or #20 right now.  And they can't be paired up with a 27,5, or 55 either.

I think Laquan gets the 5th spot because he actually will get playing time on ST.

He just isn't that good a receiver yet. He is athletic but is unrefined in the most important techniques as a receiver. That being said he really is going to take that job. I think this will make it impossible to not carry more receivers than last year.

I know this is just one half but wow, we may have some special here with this Special Teams Unit. I would love our Special Teams to be elite and really contribute with scoring points.

Is he one the sidelines or in the locker room? It would seem like if they thought it was a tear, they'd have him off the sidelines

My argument is Laquan is going to be better on ST than a non contributor is on WR.

I hope Elam and Brown continue to get a lot of reps in the 2nd half. It's not time for knee jerk reactions but the wr's left a lot to be desired in the 1st half. Can't read too far into it considering it's the 1st pre-season game and everyone is knocking off the rust though.. Really wanna see the 1st team offense drive down the field and get a TD next week

But with the durability issues we don't know who is going to be a real contributor. That being said I agree his work on special teams likely gives him the nod.

I can't wait to see the blocked punt...

Berry and Quan, it was a great play. Though to be fair the blocking was embarrassing…

Yes Ravens broadcasters in the second half!!!!

Thank goodness the Bucs broadcasters were brutal

Don't be that happy.  They've been brutal so far.  Butchering names like crazy.

Since he limped off the field I haven't even seen him or hear him mentioned.

It was Trawick, not Berry.

Yeah but it was only a handful of times. Too few to get any rhythm of any kind.

Nah it wasn't Berry. It was #28 Trawick.

Ready to see Caleb Hanie, Tyrod did not lead a scoring drive unless you're counting the one boosted by the long Rainey return...
