Busy keeping the peace through everyone's off-season meltdowns.

Story of our lives. :p

TB is a good 1st opponent, as their defense is quite decent.  Should give the backup QB/WRs/RBs some good practice and help Harbaugh decide who to start at WR in the regular season.

Huge thunder and lightning storm passed over st Pete at 730ish tonight. Raymond James is just across the bay so it's quite possible it happens tomorrow.

Hmm, this should be a very good game for preseason, even without Revis the Bucs are quite interesting. Good thing is with that broken pass rush Flacco won't be touched while he is in there.

My Players of interest:

- Matt Elam, Arthur Brown, Brandon Williams: Obviously as these are our top 3 draft picks and they should get good reps. Brandon Williams has the potential to dominate in the pre-season.

- Visanthe Shiancoe: He'll get a chance to link up with Joe on the 1st drive (hopefully) and will get extra reps with second team

- Josh Bynes: Will get his opportunity to make calls for the D and continue to prove he's the Raven's next undrafted Ellerbe type LB product

- Bryan Hall: We've seen his transformation into an ILB, time to see if he can get results on the field at his new position

- Deonte Thompson/Tandon Doss: Joe may play just a single series but these 2 will get plenty of opportunities with Tyrod Taylor in the first half to show off their playmaking ability, route running, and ball skills

(I've avoided listing players like Canty, Huff, Dumervil since they will probably only play 1 series and we won't be able to make a firm assessment like we can for some other players. It will no doubt be great to see them make their debuts though)

Without Revis their secondary might be quite bad. It would make it easier for our WR to make same plays though.

I wonder how long Harbs will keep Joe out there. Last season it was just one quarter, but since the Ravens have to try out all those receivers, he might have to stay out there a little longer.

Too bad we don't have the Paint man to light up the scoreboard late in games.  Him and Deonte were on fire during PS last year.
