You don't like Alfred as RB1 or you think I should just go for two top RBs?

Nah, you have a bigger hole at WR.  Try to address that 1st, as you have a star in Morris.

Really good job for the ppr format. I probably would have grabbed either a better QB or TE (like where you drafted BJGE or Jordy Nelson.  Because you probably need to double up on both of those positions because of your starters.

We have visions of Myers from last year but we still don't know his impact on the Giants.  Eli likes to use his WRs more than Palmer did last year.

My plan for #7 in a 12 team ppr is to either get a guy like McCoy (though he might be moving up draft boards after PS game 2) or Rice (or whoever else falls from the top 6).  Then on the turnaround probably nab a top WR, Jimmy G, or Forte/Jackson.  I feel like if you get one of those top WRs you can than load up on the middling RBs.

But I've ended up with the Rice/Jackson combo in many mock drafts myself.

So the idiot with no rbs came calling and wants Ryan Matthews, who should I pair him with to counter for Calvin or dez

Andre Johnson or Randall cobb

I would say Cobb as he is going to be playing through a bicep injury for "a while."  Either way you win so it isn't a big deal who you send away.

I'd much rather have Cobb than Johnson, but that's just me.

Swap Cobb because GB is so deep at WR.  Andre Johnson is Schaub's only consistent target-other than Foster! :p

I'm not that concerned by the injury but when you have two players that close fantasy wise, I made that the deciding factor.

My long-time, 10 team keeper league: .5 PPR, 1 Pt per 20 Return yds, 6 Pt for TD pass, .2 pt per completion.

QB: Newton

RB: Martin

RB: Spiller

WR: Cobb

WR: Amendola

WR: Garcon

TE: Cameron

Flex: MJD

DEF: Ravens

K: Zuerlein

Bench:

Lamar Miller

Cecil Shorts

Chris Givens

Vincent Brown

Daryl Richardson

Zach Sudfeld

I'm hoping to maybe trade a RB or WR or a combination of the two for a better WR/TE.

It's really close for me but I'd rather send Cobb. Andres injury history and fosters td culturing worry me but Cobb is already injured and competing with fellow gimp Nelson. Jordy is much bigger threat than Hopkins

Well, Rodgers is going to attempt 100+ more passes probably, and he is a much better QB to begin with. The Texans are still a running team, especially in the RZ.

I disagree with lacy in fb now. They may run it more to take pressure off the LT

They won't run it anymore than they used to (they actually did run the ball more than you think just not very effectively). So maybe the attempts won't be there, but I'll bet you Cobb is still a more productive fantasy WR. Rodgers will throw twice as many TDs as Schaub and Cobb will get a good number of them.

Yahoo League #2: 10 team standard start 3 wide and 2 rb no flex

QB: Matt Ryan

RB: Shady McCoy

RB:Stevan Jackson

WR: Roddy White

WR: Andre Johnson

WR: DeSean Jackson

TE: Jason Witten

Def: Baltimore

K: Screw Them

Bench

Eddie Lacy

Ahmad Bradshaw

Josh Gordon

Ben Tate

Kenny Britt

Kenbrell Thompkins

Bryce Brown

Thoughts: I felt I had a strong draft, but of course we had a troll come in and make ludicrous picks upsetting the balance of power. Guy took a kicker in the third round. Fortunately, I feel that I still made it out with a strong enough draft to win. I wish my wideouts were a bit stronger, but trades may help with that. I got Tate so if Foster misses time, I can extort the Foster owner to upgrade my wideouts. The only other thing I hated is the bye week issues. I feel my bench is strong enough to offset them, but I don't like putting my eggs in one basket so to say. Still the Falcons and Eagles aren't bad baskets to chose for offensive performance.

Damn, that's a well-rounded team!  Only need is a  TE and a QB2.

When i read what you wrote about kickers, I almost cried... :(

I like this team.  Only concern is with your WR3.  Your receiving bench is deep, but full of questionable players.

Thanks, but I have a TE, actually 2 of them. I don't carry a QB2 in a 10 team league.

I know, but your TEs are young and unproven!  There are up to 22 starting QBs on your FA, so see who's available.  Might be able to snag Palmer or Tannehill.

I just said I dont carry a back-up QB. I'd rather have the bench spot for a position player that has a chance to break out. There is no need to carry a back-up that I will use for 1 week. As for the TE, I have faith that one of the two TEs will have a big year. If not I have the ammunition to make a trade.

Plenty of options for kickers.

I don't see how that would be stupid considering foster hasn't been practicing. He is a serious ? For week 1. Also the word is he has back and nerve issues causing pain to run down his back into his legs. I think he would be stupid not to protect himself.

These are still just rumors and Tate has his own injury history.  D-Jax is the most frustrating fantasy WR ever.  Fitzgerald should be a top 3 WR this year.

Yeah, I dont think that will happen, but I can always pick someone up if it does.

What pick did you get Cam Newton with?

What pick did you get Cam Newton with?

He was my first pick. Most of the top 10 QBs were kept because QBs are by far the biggest point scorers in this league. Tom Brady was the first QB taken just ahead of me which left me with Newton or gambling with a guy like Romo or Manning.

Spiller and Martin were my keepers.
