Justin Tucker - How Good Can He Possibly Get?

34 posts in this topic

Funny... we were saying the same things about Cundiff after his one year of stellar play. Let's give the kid some time before heaping best kicker ever type praise on him lol.

Seems like no one remembers Cundiff's days before he got to the team. He was a below average journeyman-type kicker before he got here. Touchbacks were his specialty, but that's pretty much all he could do at a solid level. When you have about 4 years of scrub-like play, and just have one good year, then its called a 'flash in the pan'... an anomaly... Tucker excelled in college. Tucker performed at an excellent level before he got here. Cundiff did not.

Tucker is by far the most personable kicker I have ever seen. He also has an awesome leg. With him kicking the field goals, there is none of that fear that he is going to totally mess up. Love watching him kick after kick. Hope he makes his goal of 100% this year.
