If only it was the Raiders we were talking about

Speaking of the Raiders' 1st round pick, DJ Hayden should be cleared for contact at practice on Friday after his fairy-tale triumph over an injury (torn inferior vena cava) with a 95% fatality rate-more deadly than Ebola.

I know jo normally wears the tin foil hat here but are all these injuries and high testing being annoyed this year linked?

Watching ESPN and they keep talking about how Brady left practice today with the trainers. Left knee injury. Sorry, no link. Just watching it on TV.

Brady left practice with a left knee injury, the same he had his ACL surgically repaired in.  It doesn't seem like it was bad, he went off and came back on before they took him off again.  He's walking gingerly, but if it was something bad he probably wouldn't be able to do that.

Further info says that Nate Solder was pushed back by a DE into Brady.

Tebow is quite an albatross isn't he.

Further on the Brady injury, here is the actual video of the play on which Brady was injured captured by a fan in the stands: http://telly.com/13APF8V

Considering most of the leg injuries have been the deadly torn ACL, I wouldn't rule it out that Brady tore his left ACL again, the same ACL that ended his 2008 season.

If he torn his ACL again it's highly unlikely he would have been able to return to practice, especially since he would know how that feels.  It's not impossible, as Philip Rivers did play in an AFC Championship with a torn ACL, but it is unlikely.

Also to note today is Tim Tebow's birthday, someone should ask Tebow what he wished for. I mean Brady suffers a knee injury on Tebow's birthday, that isn't just a coincidence.

Surely the holier-than-thou Tebow wouldn't wish ill upon another of God's blessed creatures.

Sarcasm aside, this might put an end to these joint practices.  If it was one of his own players Belichick would have already killed him for damaging the goods.

Actually scratch that, keep an eye on Nate Solder.  He shouldn't have let himself get pushed back into the Brady.

Poor Matt Flynn, Raiders LT Jared Veldheer tore his triceps and will need surgery to repair it. The Raiders will put him on the IR designated to return list in hopes of him coming back.

Update:

Veldheer only has a partial tear and doctors believe he will be able to play most of the season.

Rich Eisen giving us some good news on Brady: "Adding to @RapSheet report, I'm hearing Brady's knee is still on his leg just below the thigh and just above the shin. Per league source."

In other news, Chargers receiver Malcolm Floyd apparently has no structural damage on his knee, via Schefter.
