Ouch.  Looks like the Falcons starting RT (Mike Johnson) might be out for the season.  This is a big hit to their O-Line.

More and more leg injuries. Have to wonder if the strength and conditioning coaches are doing enough to prevent these leg injuries.

"Recapping today, WRs Danario Alexander and Arrelious (Benn) (Eagles) tore their ACLs and WR Jordy Nelson underwent knee surgery" -Adam Schefter

Another round of injuries to some good players.  Danario Alexander was one of those guys I thought we should nab from RFA for a late rounder with how good he is but people told me he had knee issues.  Looks like they were right.

Wow that's some serious injury news, I feel worst for Alexander because I doubt teams will give him another shot after another knee injury, hasn't he had 3 already.

Five knee surgeries.  This will be the sixth.

Pitta's pretty overrated too, to be totally honest.

His post-season form was very impressive, but during the year he was pretty average, as unpopular as that opinion may be.

I think it's the same case with Joe. Wasn't being utilized right with Cameron calling the shots. I think he's one of the most underrated TE's in the league. Not a good blocker but an excellent receiver.

He was still top ten among most major receiving categories for a TE.

Wow how many ACLs can he have left?

You've got to feel bad for him man, I mean I feel bad for Webby coming back from a second, but 5? That has to be hard, especially when they generally say that hardest part about coming back from an ACL is more the mental side of things than the physical with the way modern medicine is now.

I read something about grass practice facilities and ACL tears.  Perhaps it's time to ditch those crappy fields across the league, like Heinz for example.

Saw that Orlando Franklin of the Broncos injured his hip yesterday...with both his centers down, Lilja not conditioned for football yet, Clady still nursing a sore shoulder from surgery, and now this, old Peyton has got to be secretly sweating the Ravens' new d-line. If their o-line is still in this shape in two weeks, it will be a major concern for them and a boon for our team.

If they don't get their tackles back at full strength, Dumervil and Suggs are going to destroy Peyton.

I'm surprised Manning hasn't tried to lure Jeff Saturday out of retirement though.

Well, guess what? Lamar Miller was just recently taken off of the Dolphins practice field due to a (severe) limp in his right ankle.

[twitter]ArmandoSalguero[/twitter]: "Lamar Miller being taken off the field limping."

Any chance you could work your magic on another team? :P

UPDATE: Well, I guess Miller's injury wasn't severe, at all. He's actually fine, now. But, Jordy Nelson had knee surgery and isn't expected back until the start of the regular season, at-the-earliest.

Honestly, that isn't the biggest blow the Packers could suffer, especially in comparison to Ryan Bulaga being gone for the year. But, still; huge injuries are occurring left-and-right in Green Bay...

Still hoping nobody gets hurt but... My second guess would be either Bengals and or jets.. Way too quite for those 2 teams.

Not to rain on the Broncos parade some more but this is from Adam Schefter.

Surprise, surprise. Broncos OL Ryan Lilja, who came out of retirement, underwent off-season micro fracture knee surgery.

Seriously someone needs to run some statistics here.  There seems to be an absurd amount of ACL tears happening this pre-season.

The ACL tears will probably slow down as players start getting used to the intense workload (or we just run out of players).

Whichever comes first I guess lol. I say let the starters play one quarter and don't play them again until Denver lol.

Plaxico Burress might be gone for the season with a torn rotator cuff.

[twitter]AdamSchefter[/twitter]: "Steelers WR Plaxico Burress has a torn rotator cuff, what could be a season-ending injury."

Also, the other day, Colts wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey suffered a sprained MCL; but, it wasn't as serious as original thought. However, that begs the question: Since when did DHB play for Indy?

Since Jim Irsay predicted it on Twitter, they signed a "difference-maker" at WR :P

Isnt muscle injuries linked to coming of steroids or hgh or something? Seen someone mention that before with injuries. Probably not related in anyway but will be interesting to see the inj situation when hgh testing passes.
