Wow that's disappointing for DRC, if its serious, I was expecting a bounce back year for him now that he's out of Philly.

Somebody proposed that guys are now working too hard in the off-season, I think it was Charles Woodson.

It could also be that some of these guys just aren't in shape.

Fact: majority of injuries in general occur later in practice when guys are weaker/tired. Saw that somewhere, I want to say in an Olympic document for some research I was doing on a project

I feel like this thread is similar to the arrest thread we have. Like we know it may or may not happen but there shouldn't be an entire thread full of them.

Another day, another major injury: Denver Broncos CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was carted off the field, from practice, with a leg injury. There's no details on how serious this injury is.

[twitter]AdamSchefter[/twitter]: "Broncos CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie carted off field with leg injury."

Oh, and even Chicago Bears outside linebacker D.J. Williams was carted off the field, as well. Crazy...

Schefter also said that the Broncos believe DRC's injury is a high ankle sprain.

2-3 years ago there were a multitude of hamstring injuries etc...since that time peds have been cracked down on more...much less of those type of muscle injuries. Last year or 2 its all knee and achille etc...hgh combined with not enough offseson conditioning?

I mean...they say the initial indicator of cheaters is that their body begins to break down...you could be on to something

It seems we may never escape a day without someone being injured. 49ers LB Patrick Willis injured his right hand when doing a blitz pick up drill and ran into FB Bruce Miller. He also declined signing autographs due to his hand injury. The 49ers fear it is a slight fracture in his hand.

LBs can play with a broken hand as long as they soft-cast it.

Yeah Rotoworld is saying he will play through the injury. Good thing it is not too serious, would have sucked to see the 49ers lose him for the season.

I think every team should just end Camp early to prevent any more injuries lol. 49ers CB Chris Culliver injured his knee in practice and is having an MRI done at Stamford.

PW will be fine. In other news, their 2nd CB, Chris Culliver tore his ACL today. Looks like Aso might have a role after all.

At the current rate of ACL Tears, we'll have half the starters gone by the end of the preseason.

They need to come out with robotic titanium ligaments already.  Seems like we see more and more achilles and ACL injuries every year and it's only pre-season!

They already have. I am getting a pair installed on 8/9. I feel bad about telling others about...well...not really

The 49ers' woes are welcome news in arguably the most competitive division in the NFL.

I hate to see anyone suffer an injury but it's nice to see the Niner fans get a foot to their face to get them to stop talking like they are 100% this years Super Bowl Champs.  Pats fans aren't even that bad.

I'm sorry but I couldn't help but laugh when I read that. The fact a Mat sacked him isn't a good sign.

I don't know what's more embarrassing, getting sacked by a mat or getting sacked and fumbling off of your guard's butt.

Are you seriously asking that? 100s of 1000s of people every year slip in the bathtub or are close to slipping in the bathtub.

Very few are fumbling off their teammate's rear end. Surprised we haven't heard jokes about what kind of fart Brandon Moore let rip to cause that
