Rashad Jones of the Cardinals (safety) apparently lost part of his finger in the game yesterday. He took off his glove and part of his finger was still in it. All together now, ewwwwww!!!

For some reason I can't get the link to work, how does something like that happen?

Also, I have no clue how it happened. I'm not even sure he knows how it happened. All I know is I can't get the visual of a disembodied finger in a glove out of my head... ugh...

That is pretty gross.  I still can't figure out how you would not notice that.  Sure adrenaline could cover up the pain, but do you not notice something wrong with your finger's movement?

Bears DT Henry Melton tore his ACL and is out for the season.  I apologize profusely for the moron being in the video at the top of the article.

Cameron Wake out 2-3 weeks with MCL injury: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000249636/article/report-cameron-wake-out-2to3-weeks-with-mcl-sprain?campaign=Twitter_atl

Miami has a bye in 3 weeks, so I could see them holding him out until after that.

Of course, this matters for us too, as we play Miami in two weeks.

Damn, they're in for a pummeling against NO & BAL.

I see Henry Melton was placed on season ending IR. Anyone think he'll be cheap in free agency next year? Perhaps we could sign him if we can't get Arthur Jones back and if Melton chooses to come to us over another team or even assuming he doesn't sign a one year deal with Chicago.

I highly doubt he'll be cheap.  The Bears know that he's been valuable to them.

Maybe I should've said a cheaper alternative to Jones due to the ACL injury he suffered. Then again, the tear isn't nearly as bad as it used to be. It might not matter. Just wanted to spark some discussion.

Wilfork tore his Achilles, they're still evaluating how long he'll be out, but the best guess is that it's season ending.  This is a major blow to the Pats defense, he's a great player.

Mark Sanchez has decided to have surgery on his torn labrum, ending his season.  Jets fans couldn't be happier.

Locker will miss at least a month with the hip injury resulting from cheap hit from Wilkerson.

The Titans received good news today as Locker will not need hip surgery and will only be out for a few weeks.

According to Jim Wyatt of the Tennesseean, the Titans confirmed that Jake Locker won’t need surgery to repair the hip injury suffered Sunday, and will miss a few weeks with hip and knee injuries.

Dwight Freeney could be done for the year after he tore his quad. Chargers haven't decided if they want to put him on IR or not, but I seriously doubt he's coming back any time soon.

Freeney is done for the year, the Chargers have moved him to IR.

Malcolm Floyd is heading to IR, ending his season.

Another key receiver for SD gone.  What is the nature of his injury?

I'm assuming it's related to the incident where he was carted off the field and forced to wear a neck brace, but I didn't see specific details on the tweet.

Only thing I've heard is a neck injury.
