With this wave of early camp injuries, I thought it best to collect them in one topic.

And on that bombshell, Broncos Center Dan Koppen has torn his ACL.

Unbelievable. The Broncos had signed him to replace J.D. Walton who is also injured.

Torn ACL and MCL for Dolphins receiver Armon Binns has taken him out for the season.

Might be late on this one, but Chargers ILB Jonas Mouton has also been placed on IR after tearing his ACL.

Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin out for the season with a torn ACL.

And of course our own Dennis Pitta.  I think that puts us up to date on the season ending injuries.

This comment on PFT sums up the early injuries:

Did the league mandate that every team must have a season-ending injury in practice???

Ravens, Niners, Eagles, Dolphins, Saints, Broncos, it goes on…

A lot of ACL tears too.  I wonder how this compares to olden times.

Poor Blaine Gabbert, a teammate tired of his incompletions when he reached nine straight incomplete passes stepped on Gabbert giving him an strained ankle. Gabbert was carted off the field but it is said to not be that serious.

Henne proved to be a good QB for the Jags last year so we'll see if he can do it again.

Good is a strong word for Henne.  Let's not forget his point of comparison.

Another day, another Eagles injury. Former Ravens and Panthers LB Jason Phillips was carted off the field today after suffering an injury to his right leg.

Is Chip making them practice really fast like he did at Oregon?  I'm guessing we'll continue to see injuries if that's the case.

I feel bad for Phillips, his time here ended because he couldn't stay healthy. He was a good player coming out of college, but he can't seem to stay healthy enough to get on the field.

Update: Another day, another Eagles injury, and another torn ACL. Phillips tore his right ACL.

Apparently tearing an ACL is contagious.

I believe it came out earlier this weekend that he wouldn't have to have surgery

He is getting a second opinion today.

Not good for Peyton Manning, who needs pass protection more than most QBs (age, neck surgeries).

I feel bad every time I see a new post here. Kind of makes me sad. Too bad for Phillips. Seems like a record number of players going down. Makes you wonder if it's a sign of other unprecedented, and more positive, regular season records for 2013

I honestly don't recall so many injuries like this happening prior to Goodell making all these safety rules to benefit the offense.

Somebody proposed that guys are now working too hard in the off-season, I think it was Charles Woodson.

Update on Percy Harvin, he is having surgery this Thursday and is expected back around Thanksgiving or December.  Via Schefter and Ian Rapaport.

At least the surgery doesn't knock Harvin out for the entire season, as the team initially worried.

I still think Seattle was stupid to pay that kind of money to a player as injury prone as Harvin.

Not to mention they were succeeding with the most rush-oriented offense in the NFL.

Another day, another major injury: Denver Broncos CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was carted off the field, from practice, with a leg injury. There's no details on how serious this injury is.

[twitter]AdamSchefter[/twitter]: "Broncos CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie carted off field with leg injury."

Oh, and even Chicago Bears outside linebacker D.J. Williams was carted off the field, as well. Crazy...
