Heyward Bey's value seems to be falling due to Maryland's lack of production, and his recent injury. Hopefully other teams will let him slip off their radar and we can pick him up. He's dropped all the way down to the 32nd rank according to this scout.

They've got Maclin ranked way above him now, at #7...

I really hope we pick up DHB. He would be a great fit with our team, and being from Maryland who wouldn't want to play for the Ravens!

He will rise again once they hit the combine but if he is there when the Ravens pick you better believe they will take him.

don't be so sure. DHB is explosive, but his route running needs some work. my belief is that he'll go to the combine and run a 4.3, but he'll still be the 3rd WR taken behind crabtree and maclin (if they declare). and yes, that's where i think he belongs.

and don't be so sure the ravens take him if he's available. too many other factors to look at there.

True, we usually dont fall for the "Workout warrior" at the combine. Vernon Gholston makes the draft look silly because he was so overhyped because of the vertical jump, and size/speed combination. Usually we go on what our scouts see on the field, and DHB hasnt impressed as much as he did last year imo. I know qb issues have been a big problem with DHB, but our scouts are definitely good at what they do, and I'll be happy with whomever they select.

I do think he will go higher then maclin though, just because of his 6'3" frame and 4.3-4.4 speed. Some team will get jaded by his numbers and select him way too high. Thats how I see it, we will see what really happens soon enough

I didnt think our team knew how to draft a good qb, then came Joe Flacco, so I'm thinking anythings possible now.

i still think maclin goes before him. it's not like maclin has bad size....he's 6'1, which is taller than most of our WRs. plus, maclin is a homerun hitter in the return game. speed isn't everything.....though it does help. i think maclin is a much more polished WR than DHB, but DHB has the bigger upside.
