NCAA Football 14

Seeing as this might be the last "NCAA" Football 14 put out by EA, what are everyone thoughts on it? I just picked it up and haven just started messing around with some games.

I'm not going to be buying this one. I try to get them all, but with this being the last one of the series, and with the company being EA Sports, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them only put like a quarter of effort into making this game. Imagine Madden, except with even less effort into making the game. If thats even imaginable. But please do share your thoughts about the game.

I wouldn't say that they mailed in it with this one. The gameplay seems to be very good, the lunging action when you stumble is nice and the run blocking is more realistic as well. I've been playing the Dynasty Mode and I like the changes they've made to the Recruiting and the Coach Skills, though the Recruiting changes don't allow you to micro manage as much with promises, picks, etc. which I enjoyed, but it is much faster to get through it once you set your targets. I also like the scouting additions for the players as well.

 

From the GUI stand point, the menu system is very Windows 8-like, with different size boxes that can make navigating a little annoying.

NCAA has been cancelled for next year and it's future is in jeopardy due to ongoing litigation and the withdrawal of support from many conferences.
