If there are any Jets fans on the forums... I'm sorry.

well it's not like he's going to have the opportunity to miss a crucial kick in the last 30 seconds of an afccg any time soon anyway lol

He might hit more field goals than Sanchez has completed passes.  No, interceptions don't count as completed passes.

That team is a circus lol

It's at the point for me where I expect stuff like this from them. Laughing stock of the league

Yea was just about to say Patriots must be excited haha. But seriously no hard feelings Cundiff, we got our ring even though we could have had 2 :S but good luck!

Jets seem to grab a lot of our former players like Bart Scott, Jim Leonhard, Trevor Pryce, and Derrick Mason.  Good luck to Billy. I am one of few, but I do think he is a good kicker if he gets his mind right.

Poor Rex.

It really is sad to see his career continuing to plummet like it is.

Good luck Billy, I hope this is your shot at redemption.

Probably will be released after camp. Article says he's just there to push Folk. Didn't Cundiff get cut by the 'Skins last year or did he end up making the team?

He made the team, but got cut after like, week 4 after a handful of shanked field goals.

I thought it would have been something like that. He may very well get injured in training camp and then decide to retire

They always pick the best former Ravens, don't they?

(Nah I actually think Cundiff deserves another chance)

Can they do anything right? I predict a botched snap followed by a butt-fumble.

Nah. Rex will just ice Cundiff and obsess about feet more

He can't be that much worse than Nick Folk, lol.

Nick Folk didn't get cut by the Jets last season. He lasted a whole season. Unlike Billy...

Trust me, Folk is pretty awful himself.

I trust you. Billy is pretty bad too. I doubt either finishes the season with the Jets. But I don't think its that big of a deal. Teams that don't address the kicker situation find themselves in this position all the time. Next year they may decide to use one of their draft picks to get a guy or they will sign somebody undrafted

and they just added another clown!

Clown? That man stood in front of the media and owned up to his mistake. He may have been arrogant when it was him vs. Tucker but I am sure you'd say the same thing if you were the starter and an undrafted rook was brought in to go against you. He said this is my position to lose. I think a few other ravens have said that about their spots too. IIRC Torrey said the same thing. The man isnt a clown.

Wile I wasn't a fan of him as a kicker after that game, the fact the he not only did a post game press conference, which he did NOT HAVE to do. He held his head high. He blamed NO ONE but him self. No excuses.

I highly respect him as a person.
