Just checking to see if you guys know that we are scheduled to draft on Saturday night at 8 pm.  Will you guys be able to make it or does Sunday @ 6 work better?  Or can you make either one?    

 

 

These are both actually pretty bad for me. I would be more than happy to stay in the league with a cpu drafted team if need be, but if y'all have some people on a waiting list or something who would be able to draft I wouldn't be too upset about giving up my spot.

Nah, you'll be fine!  Just create your Pre-Draft Rankings.  Or you could assign a co-owner to draft for you.

I'm going to stick around.  But I'm going to make sure everyone knows about the draft date, and to at least set their pre-rankings. I've seen drafts where half the teams get auto-drafted and those people lose desire about playing their teams out.  We do have a good members list going on.

Voted on the poll as long as we have an agreed upon day by tomorrow or the next day then I should be fine, I just need to plan my weekend around the drafts I have going on lol This one will determine if Sunday or Saturday is my crazy draft day.

Let's allow Texas to speak for himself.  He's one of our best Players, so it would be a shame to see him leave.

we also know that Steelers, BaltimoreFlacco and Crush won't be able to make it on both these days/times

 

so then, the possibilities at the moment are as follows:

1. keep the draft on Sat 25th at 8 pm ET, time I cannot over-rule without 8 votes on the nfl poll for the Sunday time

2. postpone the draft by one week and try to find a more appropriate date/time for everybody involved (30 / 31st of August or 1st of Sep)

 

as a side note, we also got dizzle and ellicottraven willing to (re)join and further enlarge the league to 16 players if you would like to raise the competiveness

I like the fact that this is a 14-team league.  Its nice to have a smaller league on BR.  I'd personally, leave it at that.  If we need replacements, we have options.  

 

The sound of the turnout for Saturday night (and even Sunday night) doesn't sound very promising.  Like you said, the banter, having people active is what makes the game fun.  

 

I'm all for postponing, maybe we can put a poll at the beginning of this thread and have people vote, that way we can get the most possible people.  (If we are missing votes, we'll PM people until they vote).   That way we can pick a date and time that works for the MOST people.

Yes, I know.  The one night I am having trouble drafting, I have two drafts on here.  I know there are a few people in this draft that are also in that draft, which will decrease the banter/participation in both.

I voted! I am trying my darndest to move things around or set something up so I can (or someone else can) draft on Saturday should it stay there. I would be surprised if I made it but atleast there is a chance now! I am fine with autodraft though, I have done some pre draft rankings
