A NFL.com fantasy league where normal things don't happen very often

My money is still on Crush to win it all. I have no faith in my WRs/TEs to help me out in any way. Peyton is my only hope and they seem content on running more with the cold weather.

Honestly, I am surprised that you (Poe) got second. After the draft I thought your team was doomed for failure. You got the most out of Pierre Thomas and Donald Brown (the only two RBs on your roster). Your team defies any type of conventional fantasy strategy (i.e. currently carrying 3 QBs & 3 DEF and only 2 RBs).

I'm still concerned about my QB situation. When my starter does bad I lose.

With your supporting cast, you only need your QB to throw 1 TD (preferably 2 TDs).  With my WRs/TEs, I need Manning to throw for a minimum of 3 (4 preferably).

Matt Ryan has a great matchup in week 15 especially with a healthy Roddy White opening things up a bit.   He could also have a very good game against the Pack.

Even with a struggling QB the entire season, you still scored the most points.

At least I have a bye this week, even if it is in the consolation bracket.  I can't help but think that if Julio had stayed healthy and Vereen was available in the early parts of the year, I'd have had a shot.  My WR's have been terribad all year, and RB was incredibly weak until McFadden got hurt and Jennings got some work in.

I also have a bye in my other league (#1 seed, woo!), so I really don't know what I'm going to do without checking fantasy this weekend lol.

codizzle will also be joining us next season!  If anyone else here on the Board would like to join, let me know.

I will make some room and take me out after the Consolation bracket gets played...

You wish to leave at the end of the season? OK.

And of course I start Matt Ryan who gets 12.24 when Flacco and Tannehill have 20 on the bench.

Don't know why you're bitching. Your're on pace for 160+ points and the W.

Because I can never get my QB right and that is going to be my downfall.

We'll at least if you win, I won't have to face you.

I'm glad that you'll be facing Prophet next week, instead of me.  The man's got 9 straight wins!

Better than facing the league's highest scorer coming off a game where he could set the season's high watermark (if he breaks his own record of 144).

Wins can come in many fashions.  Both are tough matchups, but if I had a choice, I'd go with Prophet.

As he admitted, his QBs suck though, so I'm not scared.

That right there is the scary part.  His QBs have sucked, yet he's the highest scorer.  If he gets anything from his QBs, his team is a nightmare.

And in week 15, Matt Ryan at home (in the dome) against a busted Redskins team is a pretty nice matchup.  Or Flacco in the dome against a weak secondary.  Or even Tannehil at home against a Patriots team getting burned on defense.  Tough choice as they all have great matchups.

Man things are getting bad for my team quickly.  Adrian Peterson is going to be out.  Lacy is 50/50 and I have no reliable receivers.

Live and die by Manning!  He needs to throw 7 TDs.  Not feeling too good about my chances anymore.

Tell me about it.  In my other league, Peterson is hurt and Gronkowski is now out for the season.  I'm the 1st seed, riding the coattails of Jimmy Graham and Gronk.  With 2 guys going down, I'm screwed.  Luckily I had a bye this week because my team was the lowest scoring team of them all.

Uh, looks like both Pu and I will be upset this week...  why Jamaal Charles, why?!

Yea, my team wet the bed.  Can't believe I am going to lose to a guy who hasn't picked up one single player off waivers and didn't even set his lineup for half the season.  He even didn't set a complete lineup today.  This game does have a lot of luck.

I told you it'll be tough to match Crush's score.  But at least you put up a good fight.  You would have beat either me or Prophet.

My money is still on Crush next week, its been on him since he acquired Dez.
