A lot of teams got knocked out of contention in the 3rd-to-last week of the FF season:

 

Slice~upset by last-place Dubs

CAR~unfortunate because he tried really hard this season

Texas~abandoned his team

 

5th place rmw10 will fall to 8th after an inmprobable upset by Live's abandoned team and will likely miss the playoff as a result.  Hawaii rises to the 6th seed with Live right behind him and rmw, horus and 5aiah 1 game behind for the final playoff spot.

the trade deadline i had originally set up to meet with the nfl's one was changed; my goal was to win the league to force the ownership back

now i'm looking to get a 7th place finish now and missed a couple of players, one WR and a flex, plus the fins' whatcha mac qb is putting up decent numbers

you are correct in all assumptions about Stafford, but my problem for quite a while was the lack of depth, no decent WR2 or flex; MJD and Floyd can give me that extra I'll be missing by dropping from Stafford to Tannehill; should've pulled this trade a couple of weeks back in all honesty... plus Lions are going down on a spiral, Ravens will make sure to seal their fate soon, so no biggy there lol

As I've iterated above, #8 rmw10 and #7 Live Slowly can steal a Wild Card spot in the final week of the season. Everyone below them is eliminated from contention.

The trade between me and Mr. Nobody was fair and you know it.  The only reason that you vetoed it is because you think it makes my team too strong and you don't want to face that in the playoffs -- because you have a chance to face me in the semis right now.

 

MJD, Floyd, and Tannehill is fair.  You said it yourself, MJD and Floyd are on fire right now.  That makes them better assets to trade and Stafford has had a down week two of his last three games. 

 

Pu said it was fair.  It helps Mr. Nobody's team as he gets to starting players (MJD and Floyd) and a replacement level player in Tannehill who is playing good right now as well.

 

Just because someone makes a trade when they are out of the playoff hunt doesn't mean they are tanking and trying to stack someone else's team.  Mr. Nobody is trying to go for 7th place (the best he can do now) and this trade improves his team overall and helps him.

 

Also, I feel like you are trying to punish Mr. Nobody for the Dez trade.  Mr. Nobody as said that was a bad trade and he was wrong about Richardson.  He thought he was going to have a massive year and he didn't.  

 

What you failed to leave out while criticizing that is that you were going to accept the exact same trade but for Brandon Marshall.

 

Lastly, you took over the league and made it so you have a veto without asking any of us about it.  There is a whole thread here for the league and you failed to ask for our opinions on this matter.  

 

You are just trying to protect your team here -- which isn't what a veto is for.
