What happened to summer?

Ill know next month for the 15 day period of 130 with 80percent humidity

I decided to torture myself with an Intensive Advanced Level Arabic Summer Semester. I'll graduate sooner, but its taken a toll on my physical and mental health. Usually about 4 hours sleep. Sometimes 2. Somehow I'm at a 90% in the class, but I need to keep hammering away. Come August 5th, I'm partying like a rock star.

The summers here in MD are just waaay too short. It seems like we don't even have a spring anymore. It just goes from cold rainy winter weather straight into 90 degree heat over night with maybe a few weeks in between. 

 

This is why I'm hoping to be moving south bound within the next few years!!!! I love snow too, but we only get substantial fun snow storms once every few years anyway..

That makes it sound like we get a long summer.  It eats up Spring!

 

I'm opposite.  I'm going to move to Maine, get a log cabin, and be as far away from people as I can.  I'll be like the Modern day Walt Whitman and write a book like Walden.  Enjoy the long winters and cool summers.

I have to admit that I really enjoyed yesterday! :) I took the boys to Hannah More. Rex (our Labradoodle) thanked me immensely for it. He loves that place. My oldest boys played for well over an hour, and it was just a nice day. :)

We got our new 10,000 BTU air conditioner yesterday. Bring on the August heat wave!! :)
