Bottom 5 NFL teams for 2013

82 posts in this topic

I have been on the rams since late last year asan up and coming team. The first time I posted about them making the playoffs a while back pretty much everyone laughed at the notion. Maybe others liked them as well but I didn't see them getting much of any love. There seems to be some now.

Give Bradford another weapon and if he takes the next step that team becomes a Super Bowl contender

If they get another WR in the draft next year look out.

Or they could trade their picks and put Clowney next to

Long
Brockers
Quinn
Clowney

And pull off what the Giants do sometimes

Also Lance Kendrick, Daryl Richardson and Isiah Pead.

Bradford's finally got some weapons and it looks like protection. I think he takes the next step this year. If he doesn't I would still give him another year to judge whether he's boom or bust. Chemistry needs to develop and he's playing in the toughest division in football.

He's got some legit weapons now though so it's all on him.

Yep. Also I wouldn't be surprised to see the Rams draft another QB next year if he struggles. They either get themselves a great backup with trade value or get their guy to replace Bradford. I believe they have two 1st round picks right? I can't remember the Washington deal right note.

Yeah I'm pretty sure next year is the last year that trade remains in effect.

I don't know why everyone is so low on Bradford. His stats last year were not that far below Flacco's, and people say he's elite.

Stats don't show any where near the whole story. I like Bradford and I'm expecting him to have a really good year.

I'm all in on the rams and Bradford. I plan to have him on most of my fantasy teams as well. He hasn't had this good of a team around him since his last year at Oklahoma at which time he was lights out.

As for next year I believe the rams top target would be safety or another corner if finnegan begins to slide.

Titans, Eagles, Raiders, Bills, Lions. Tough call.

If Maclin has indeed torn his ACL, then I'd agree with PHI.  I think DET will remain somewhat decent as long as they have Megatron and a decent QB feeding him.

The Lions had that last year and it didn't seem to help. Plus they play the AFCN now. I don't believe in Philly mostly because they don't even know who their QB is, and the defense will still be very suspect.

Did you hear about Maclin?

Yeah, but I'd have them in the bottom 5 regardless. 1 WR doesn't make a huge impact in terms of W/L.

How come you didn't list JAC, btw?

The should have a better defense, and hopefully will stop kidding themselves and bench Gabbert the whole year. Blackmon didn't pick up steam until Henne started. With Henne and a new LT, and MJD healthy, the offense should be good enough to win a few more this year.

Well, Blackmon does miss the first 4 games right?

Correct.  JAC now has some more #1 Draft Pick competition in PHI, who jus lost heir main passing threat for the year.

Haha, careful what you wish for...I also have a new strategy to carry at least 3 qbs this year depending on bench size.
