That worked out nicely for you.  But we all weren't so fortunate.  I wouldn't call them 'gold' but there are guys on waivers that can help out in a 16-team league.  But like you said the chances of those guys breaking out like an Alfred Morris are slim.  

 

A lot of the difference makers for me, were guys I picked up off the waivers.  Pitta & Myers eventually became my starting TEs, who I both signed off waivers.  Marcel Reece, Vick Balard, and Andre Brown started a big span of games for me and helped me reach the playoffs.  Got Kaepernick off waivers, as well.

Whoops, I was wrong.  I didn't get PItta off Waivers (drafted him in Round 15).  I did get Myers off Waivers though.  For some reason I thought I did.

 

Kaep help me win my main league last year (didn't do much in ATD's league since Cam was on fire).  As for the breakout, It'll probably be someone that nobody is expecting and makes the most of the opportunity.

Good game. I knew Forte was going to shred it for you.  I'm having a rough fantasy week across the board, fell short of my projection by nearly 40 points in this league.  The S-Jax injury in the opening minutes hurt, the Cook letdown. Then I was shocked by the Delanie Walker TD.  

 

I left Hopkins on my bench in two leagues as well, he wasn't really start-able going in.  But he has now merited it.

I was very surprised with cook not producing with Bradford having a huge second half. Walker was kind of a desperation play with Allen injured and my tight ends already week. However Jordan reed looks to be a nice sleeper find.

Here we go, only took two weeks for Yahoo to screw me over.

I started Poe instead of Calais Campbell 15' before the start of the 1 PM games. That's the 2 point difference I needed to win my matchup. Never using the mobile app to make lineup changes ever again.

Then again, I caught a break with Vernon Davis leaving early in the game last night. Just a frustrating week all around for me in fantasy.

Last week it was 90 to 883

I need to change something up. I really thought I had a good looking squad. Every week someone does poorly. This week I only got 8.78 out of Kaep, 0.7 from Boldin, 4 from Ridley and 7.6 from Andre Johnson.

I had the #2 waiver spot (geving had 1). I thought Bell would reset to normal waivers. I put a claim in anyways. But apparently since everyone on my team played, I was denied the claim.

If I knew that, I would have dropped someone before the games. Bummer. I am not a fan of this waiver wire situation.

Well it was a good pick up by you.  I was surprised he was put on waivers in a 16 team league where RBs are hard to come by.   He's a great bench stash despite the Steelers O-line.

Anyone know if there is a way to setup your Yahoo fantasy league to give the QB the reception yards and the receiver the YACs?  We've been throwing the idea around for awhile but no one in our league is knowledgeable enough to set it up (if it is feasible).

I believe it may feasible using fleaflicker but don't hold me to that.

I setup a new league at FleaFlicker, when you go to edit certain point-systems, you can set it up to only apply to certain positions.  In other words, the reception yards, I can make apply only to the QB.  However, there is no "YAC" category for the receivers.
