This league should be competitive.  I don't think any is really miles ahead of anyone else, it's all going to come down to production.  So AP, please give me that 2500 yard season you've been talking about.

I think people did much better drafting this year as compared to ATD's IDP league last year.

And there wasn't really any homerism.  No one drafted Flacco in the first round, and Rice actually fell a bit.

If you need an RB, I can help.

Yahoo's predictions has us going neck and neck in our division both finishing at 10-3.  But you have a slight edge by 9 points overall.

Disclaimer:  Those predictions are always hogwash ofcourse, but fun to look at.

You just better hope that none of your running backs go down.  Between Murray and DeMarco that  could be tough.  There is nothing more ugly than the available RBs in free agency in a 16-team league.

I like your starters on paper.  But your bench is soooo short since you took backups for your IDPs and defense.

I might wait on it actually.

No problem, there is no hurry.

after a couple of weeks, the dust will settle and the bench will change - always does...

The only position I'm worried about is running back.  If Eddie Lacy produces my team will be fine.  I couldn't snag another guy I liked at number two unfortunately, so I gambled.  I gambled a bit more than usual on this team I would say.

And I'm changing my team name cause I can do this All Day Son.

Well Lacy is giving a strong showing right now 8 for 40 and a catch for 11.  I like the AP/Lacy combo.  But you don't have much depth behind them.

A lot of good teams. The rosters right now seem very well balanced so it will be interesting to see who comes ahead as the dominant teams, maybe no one does.

Yea.   Like I said earlier, I was thoroughly impressed on how well everyone drafted in this draft.  Usually I'm watching guys fall in BR drafts because people are majorly reaching, taking team defenses/IDP players, or being homers (Torrey, Rice and Flacco all went around ADP).  Didn't really see any of that in this draft.  No one team was really able to stack their team.

Now its a matter of who can stay healthy, hit waiver wire gold, and get the most out of their players.

The thing is with 16 team leagues, it's really hard to hit waiver wire gold. You might be able to get a replacement for a week or 2, but most of the players that even have a chance to break out were already drafted. I think what separates teams in a league like this will be depth and if the late round fliers actually pan out. There will always be someone, but it's a lot harder in a league this deep.

I agree about the depth and how its tougher in a larger league.  Maybe not gold, but quality depth guys always emerge on the waiver wire, even in a 16 team league.  Last year in ATD's 16 team league I picked off waivers Pitta, Andre Brown, Myers, Marcel Reece, Kaepernick, and Vick Ballard who all played big roles at one time or another.  These guys essentially became my quality depth.

That's just my team.  There was also Danario Alexander, Cecil Shorts, Kerley, Hartline, Givens, TY Hilton and Knowshon Moreno to name a few.

It just seems like there won't be anyone because everything is status quo.

Generally there are 2-3 out of nowhere guys that can make or break a season in a 16 Team league. I was lucky enough to get Miles Austin before his breakout game and enjoyed the 45 point game he put up for me a few years back lol

Last year I drafted Alfred Morris in like round 16. He was the difference for me.

there's a few guys that were not drafted as they are not with a team right now, are suspended or injured; mid-season these could become an option, not all but a couple might...

That worked out nicely for you.  But we all weren't so fortunate.  I wouldn't call them 'gold' but there are guys on waivers that can help out in a 16-team league.  But like you said the chances of those guys breaking out like an Alfred Morris are slim.

A lot of the difference makers for me, were guys I picked up off the waivers.  Pitta & Myers eventually became my starting TEs, who I both signed off waivers.  Marcel Reece, Vick Balard, and Andre Brown started a big span of games for me and helped me reach the playoffs.  Got Kaepernick off waivers, as well.
