Total War: Rome 2

12 posts in this topic

Well, since the old topic vanished into the Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, I'll re-post this thread.

http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/07/01/get-15-off-your-total-war-rome-2-pre-order

Go here and reserve your copy by July 15th, 2013 and you will get 25% off of your Rome: Total War 2 game, saving you $15 off to cost you only $44.99. The Pontus faction will also be playable from day 1 and will be free if you reserve it by July 15th through this offer.

As we previously discussed, my favorite faction in Rome was the Julii Roman family. I can't remember how many hours of my life I spent conquering the world. I loved the expansions and mods that people developed for it. The Greek Cities were also a great faction as well.

Discuss and get ready for Roman Total War...again.

Also from our previous discussion, this deal does not include the Greek States pack (which includes Athens, Sparta, and Epirus) whereas the pre-order deal for $60 on Steam does.

I loved playing as Greece in the first Rome Total War, their phalanx was an immovable object. I'm excited for the more detailed rendering of the ancient cities - it seemed that all of the cities in the previous TW games were cookie-cutter.

Looks like I'll have some people to play against here looking at the last thread and this one.

If I had a PC computer to run it, I'd be first in line to take you on lol

Go get one. I might need to upgrade my computer to run this and mine isn't old.

Unfortunately with a new baby, money is not floating around. I would like to build my own gaming PC one day, but it will have to wait some.

Thanks, things are not too bad but I can't go spending big money on a computer just to play a game; no matter how much I'd like too lol. I'm looking into getting VMWare so I can run Windows and play some more PC games on my iMac because it can run it if it has the horsepower to do it.
