John Harbaugh gives Lombardi replicas to staff

I'm sure that's not a lot of money for him to let go of, but that is a tremendous gesture that will outlive the money spent ten fold! It sounds like someone took the money from winning the Super Bowl and spent it on the ones who helped get him there! :)

Yet one more thing to add to the list of reasons that Harbs is among the top coaches in the NFL. First class organization, full of first class people. It's very easy to see why so many people want to play and coach here.

This gives me mad respect for Harbs.

Funny thought though is I wonder is Jim Harbaugh's son got one, you know he at least got a ring. How would like to have that to one up your dad with?

Actually Harbs makes 4 mil a season before taxes, after taxes that's a little more than 2 mil. So it is actually a pretty sizable portion of his pay. I agree 100% Harbaugh is great about giving credit where its due :)

Class move for sure . BTW, wonder what his bonus was for the AFC North title , AFC title and Super Bowl. Im betting he added a good chunk to that 4m base!

Awesome!

I don't know him personally but I think he's a great guy....He really didn't have to do that. So glad we never got Ryan or Garrett, I bet they would of been 2 years removed already.

That gesture alone tells me John Harbaugh is all about coaching and little about big money! If he continues in the same vain as in the last 5 yrs, he will go down in history as one among many legendary coaches in NFL history. One or two more Lombardis will seal it for him!

I don't know how much Harbaugh makes.  My guess is around $2 - 3 million annually?  After taxes ... $440,000 is more than "pocket change" to him.

My gawd.  Just THINK about that for a minute.

Rex Ryan as our head coach.

Where would we be as a team?  As fans? as a city?  The Baltimore RAVENS as an organization?

I think if I ever see Biscotti or Ozzie in public I am just going to thank them and leave it at that.

They SO made the right choice.

Like someone pointed out, half of his salaries going for the gifts, so it ain't no chump change. It said a lot about the person's personality.  Class of true class........

PS: I wish opening season game is at home cuz if so I think the stadium rock so hard that the Denver will run on their tails before the game even starts.....
