Sorry to the 37 people that voted for Chris Johnson.

And the 49 for Asa, considering he's suspended now.  Both Anthony and Lee now make the team by default according to this.

I don't think Lee makes it. Looks like we will likely keep 5 CBs until Asa comes back.

That's how I see it as well.  Hopefully other people realize that in the final vote.  I have a feeling that won't happen based on some people's love affairs with UDFA's.

I said Chris Johnson would make the team based on his veteran presence and adequate talent. I don't mind being wrong about that though. I'd definitely welcome Marc Anthony and Moe Lee to the team. Now that I've seen them in action, I am impressed.

I thought Anthony rebounded nicely from a dreadful performance in game 1.  I like Lee, but keep hearing that he bites way too easily.

I don't think I selected Asa anyway but I had Chris Johnson making the team because of his veteran status and speed but we have enough experience anyway so I'm not surprised. Moe Lee I think makes the team just because of his different skill set then the others which we could actually use in a game possibly instead of just having him along to develop.

When would you like to use Lee? I mean, which situations because he's a player I don't really know too much about other than the fact that he has been a pleasant surprise in camp.

I thought so too. Anthony is looking good. Really tight coverage from him.

I voted for Chris but after training camp it became sort of coming. I wasn't surprised by this cut even though I mistakenly believed his leadership would be valued. Kind of glad really. It's nice that we can get younger. I honestly forgot about Chris for a while lol.

Color me intrigued.  What's so different about Moe Lee?

I know hes tall, physical, and has good zone awareness so I would like to use him when we put multiple CBs on the field and are in zone coverage giving him a chance to maybe make some plays on the ball(something else he's good at). Jimmy will be out there despite his lack of zone awareness but we won't have to throw Chykie out there because there just because there is no one else.

Tall zone CB who can make plays. Chykie and Jimmy are both man cover guys with blessed physical skills but low zone awareness.

I can agree with that.  I still doubt he makes the team.  Way too risky.

Just saw that Miami cut Richard Marshall. I wonder if the FO would have any interest in signing him to a minimum deal as some vet CB depth.

I'd be interested, but I think we really want Jimmy and Chykie to play. I doubt he'd come here to be a rotational backup. It's being said that he'll be a pretty hot commodity and could get a solid deal and a starting job.

I agree. It's time to let out guys play and develop.

I mean if he wants to start somewhere this isn't the place, but we are 1 injury away from being very thin at CB
with the Jackson suspension. I would like to think Webb will be 100% but there are no guarantees. I'd rather have Marshall than Chykie as a nickel CB, but that's just me.

Why not? Can't hurt if he passes through waivers. He's not some walking cancer or anything. If we can make the team better, go for it. Let them beat him out

I think he is vested so no waivers, he just becomes a FA.
