Listening to a Santana live mix after going to see him the other night. What a great guitarist and phenomenal group of players. Never get tired of seeing them.

Lately, the song on my mind is "Chelsea Dagger", by the Fratellis.

Now, as a result, I am looking forward to hockey season.

I've been really feelin Acid Rap lately. Also Mr. Wonderful and Wolf. Also, as much as I try to get into Sweatshirt I just feel like he doesn't have the energy to carry most tracks but I do like chum. In terms of non rap I've been thoroughly enjoying Huey Lewis lately.

Really quite incredibad. I saw it on bleacher report too so the comments were ruthless which added to the hilariousness. Woman! Woman! Honor a woman! I'm sure it'll do great commercially. Edited by The Oakland Cathedral

Scott weiland died last night.

Another wasted career. Think about how much great music we have missed out on over the years lost because of drugs.

Sooooooooo much. It's really a travesty. I just don't get it.

just finished listening to Metallica's "Load" album for the first time in years.

Maybe its because im older, and have a much more diverse taste than years ago, but I was really digging it.

It's still heavy, yet bluesy but not warp speed like the mid 80's albums.

Songs like The House Jack Built, 2x4, King Nothing, Bleeding Me, Outlaw Torn are all just great rock and roll tunes despite not being "thrashy" BTW listening to the song "Mamma Said" made me realize that Metallica could probably do Country better than most of the current popular country artists can.

It sucked, but honestly I'm not all that suprised. Dude was a junkie for a looooong time. His career was derailed by the needle long, long ago.

STP reunited with a CLEAN Weiland would have been something. STP with Chester Bennington is sad.

Carlos Santana is forever one of my favorite guitarists. There have been others with much more virtuosity, but the expressiveness in his playing is bar none.

Saw STP in 2009 after they reunited with Weiland. Great show, they were spot on.

Definitely agree, but Stevie Ray was very close in expressing feelings through the fretboard. Another great talent that died way too young.

"The Country's In The Very Best of Hands", from the original cast recording of the musical, "L'il Abner".

That musical made its debut in 1956.

R.I.P. Phife dawg

For those who don't know who he was, he was a member of tribe called quest, back when hip-hop actually required talent

Gone too soon at 45

Some classic rock & roll - "Donna", by Ritchie Valens.

I've been thinking of an old friend I knew in high school, whose name was Donna.  She was, and still is, a sweet and humble person.

Lmao that's Queen but you close tho.

Big fan of hard rock and the newest Megadeth album was to me their best. Listened to a couple clips from the new Metallica which tells me they alive and well and still creative.
