I've been in a system of a down frenzy for the last week or so.

Aerials, Spiders, Questions!, Chop Suey, Toxicity, byob..... They just have so many classics.

"Rockin' My Life Away" - some Jerry Lee Lewis from 1979.

I've had that song on my mind while thinking of old friends from high school.

Eminen - Lose Yourself Demo version.

Enjoyed that version so much I had to buy the entire SHADYXV album on iTunes, just for it. I discovered it the other day when I saw Eminem made annotations on some of his songs on rap Genius. Pretty funny stuff he wrote about this song specifically. Says he has no recollection of writing or recording it. No idea when or where... Blames his memory loss on the countless drugs he's taken over the years.

It's pretty cool though. I recommend checking it out.

"Little Bit of Cazaly in Us All" - by Mike Brady.

Just something from Aussie Rules which I was thinking of.

The new Faith No More album "Sol Invictus" is awesome for a band that hasn't put out an album in 18 years. Easily my second favorite of theirs after 1992's "Angel Dust." Definitely a lot more Mike Patton influence from some of his other bands like Tomahawk showing up here but it works well. That's not to say Roddy Bottom, Billy Gould, Mike Bordin, and their new guitarist are slouches by any means, it is after all Roddy, Billy, and Bordin's band originally with Patton initially sort of along for the ride so to speak. But all hail Mike Patton, the most ecclectic vocalist in musical history!

Got it a couple months late but I have really enjoyed listening to Kendrick Lamar's new album the past few weeks, didn't think he could top GKMC but I think he may have pulled it off.

Inspired by a t-shirt I saw on ebay, I looked up this track on YouTube - "Creature Without a Head", by Lenny and the Squigtones - you know them as Lenny and Squiggy from "Laverne & Shirley".
